Favored Illumination Advice for PFS

Advice

Shadow Walker Rogues have illumination points they can spend to use illumination related spell-like abilities including daylight and deeper darkness.

@ 4th level, they select an illumination level as their favored illumination and get +2 on initiative, acrobatics, perception, and slight of hand in their favored illumination, as well as being able to take 10 on any stealth check in it. Also, if the confirm a crit on a melee sneak attack in it, they regain 1 illumination point.

While choosing Dim Light or Darkness would be quite thematic for my Kuthite Unchained Shadow Walker/Evangelist, what illumination level would be most useful for my favored illumination in PFS play?

Dark Archive

Normal. You're not usually outside in PFS, which has a lot of dungeon-type scenarios, so it'll rarely be brighter than Normal and if it's ever darker you can just use a torch/light spell/dancing lights spell/Wayfinder to bring it up. In PFS play there's nearly always going to be at least one member of you party that true darkness will seriously inconvenience, and probably the same for even dim light, so if you choose either of those one of you're allies will end up ruining it by carrying a torch, unfortunately.
