This may be a dumb question, but do you still need to train for a skill if it is a class skill to put a rank in it? If you do, how do you train into a skill? Is it just putting in ranks or getting a tutor?
There is a difference between skills that can be used 'untrained' and skills that must be 'trained' before you can use them.
Anyone can attempt to use a skill that does not require training.
If the skill requires training you cannot attempt to use it until you have put at least one skill rank in that skill.
You also must be 'trained' in a skill if you want to add the +3 class bonus to your roll. This is true of all skills.
So, anyone can try to use a skill untrained. If it is a class skill for you, you need to 'train' in order to get the extra +3 bonus.
If it is a skill that requires training to use, you cannot use it until you have trained in it. At that point, if it is a class skill you will also gain the bonus

Exactly. Pathfinder doesn't deal with 'training' as a requirement for anything. Your DM may feel different and want a more realistic training between adventures... But it's not a part of the rules system.
The difference between regular skills and Class Skills is just that you get +3 bonus to a Class Skill you've taken a rank in.
