Network power vs Shared power (psionics)

Looking at these 2 feats, it seems Shared power is Network power+

Am I missing something? What possible reason would you have to take network power instead of Shared power? I'm just not seeing it.

Shared power was intended to supercede Network power from Psionics Expanded: Advanced Psionics Guide.

This was kind of rewritten in Ultimate Psionics, but D20pfsrd never included the change.
