Howdy (yes, I said howdy - little known fact about redcaps, but howdy is part of their vernacular...something about Texas fey...),

I received the notification that CotCT & Inner Sea Temples had shipped 9 days ago. Has it actually left the warehouse? Reason I ask is because shipments usually arrive within that 9-10 day period and UPS (occasionally, not always) updates the tracking of the shipment but it isn't updated.

Not trying to be impatient or pushy, just curious. The PDFs are tiding me over until I can get my grubby little redcap hands on the physical books.

Howdy Zhern!

For subscriptions we do something we call label runs. We print all of the shipping labels for the orders that are identical (just an AP, or a Campaign Setting and a Companion, etc) all at once and affix them to packages. Then we fill the packages and send them out. The shipping email is sent when the shipping email is sent (on a non subscription order this is usually when the package has been packed up and is ready to hand off to the post, so it generally means the order is shipped). However it can still take some time to get them all shipped out, so the email should say, "Expected to ship from our warehouse by Friday, October 14" which is the last day we expect to be shipping out subscriptions. The tracking number is generated when the shipping label is printed but won't show any updates until it is picked up by the post.

I just looked at the tracking for your package and it was updated yesterday, which is when the package left our warehouse.

Thanks, Diego. Appreciate the info. I hadn't experienced a gap between email and shipment like this before so was worried that the vicious and ever-hungering landwalker shark (Tome of Horrors) hadn't eaten the package.
