Brew Potion vs Pushing Assault

Advice

Hello Everyone,
I made a goliath druid and he has been a lot of fun. I am choosing my seventh level feat. I currently have power attack, cleave, and furious focus. He also has the trait accelerated drinker. I have put potions in spring loaded wrist sheathes so I can take out a potion as a swift action and then drink it as a move action (My DM has agreed to this) and then I can attack or cast a spell. Unfortunately, I am having trouble buying potions on a regular basis since we don't go to many towns and when they do they don't have many potion options.
So I was thinking of picking up brew potion to offset this. On the other hand I really like pushing assault as well, since I could attack someone, knock them away five feet and then move back as well so I can get an AO when they try to attack me again (assuming the enemy has five foot reach). I'm not really sure which one to pick and was curious if anyone else had ideas/opinions about these two feats or a different feat that could be cool.

My intelligence is only 7 but if I take a 10 on the crafting and put two skill points in my craft skill I should be able to craft most potions I would need at my level.

I am using a greataxe so power attack is for a two handed weapon.

Also as a Goliath druid I almost always do combat as a large giant (10 foot reach)

If you rarely have the chance to shop for potions, how often will you be able to shop for potion ingredients?

Pushing assault goes very well with reach, so if you routinely fight while enlarged I would go that route.

My DM said that it would be pretty easy to get the materials for brew potion. I guess I need to get more specifics. For the sake of argument let's say I am somehow able to get potion ingredients pretty easy.

I was going to say something...but GOLIATH druid?

oh yes, pushing assault is FANTASTIC for you. Pushing assault has a size based limitation, and that will be minor for you since your entire build focuses on being HUUUUUGGGGGGGEEEE (not the actual category, but the feeling of HUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEE ness.

Yes, pushing assault can be part of a combo with lunge to insure that you will always get AoOS. Lunge works to allow you to more easily attack first without losing the AoO advantage (due to enemies being close enough to just 5' step). Pushing assault lets you reset the distance and send them back to the sweet zone for AoOs, and could be used to continually kite an opponent.

In your case, I might actually go against most of the other posters' thoughts here and suggest Brew Potion. Given your setup, the action economy of being able to drop some sweet buffs for only a swift + move action is very attractive, and getting the potions for half-price means you could feasibly churn 1st and 2nd level potions pretty routinely.

Pushing Assault is definitely an attractive combination with a reach build premised on being large sized. However, it will only work for large sized or smaller creatures, and if the enemies have enough reach themselves it won't have much application. It also relies on positioning and tends to assume the enemy actually wants to come attack you, rather than go after your allies (and correspondingly avoid the AOO).

Having said that, it remains a nice feat (especially if you consider swapping your greataxe for a reach weapon, in my view). If you end up going the Pushing Assault route, you may also want to consider other AOO investments, like the Combat Reflexes feat (an obvious one if you have a positive Dex modifier when enlarged) and the Fortuitous enchantment on your weapon.

Thank you all for your input. I think I am going to go with pushing assault. I forgot about the crafting time limitations involved with adventuring and it seems like I would have the time make the potions at a useful rate.
