Beyond Demondome - a question

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

So, the Demondome scenario makes you build 6 Battlebliss locations, and then "when any of these locations is empty, close it; characters in that location move to another location, then it ceases to exist." (not a literal quote, but close enough).

When encountered for the first time, the villain summons and builds the Rapture of Rupture location, and is shuffled within. This location has the power "At the start of your turn, succeed Charisma/Diplomacy X, or move to a random other location and you may not move in your Move step"

So, my party closed all Battlebliss stacks (but we had that location's card displayed on the table, so that may have tripped us up), and we had all gathered at Rapture. Sure enough, the next person to play failed the Charisma/Diplomacy check, but even before she rolled we already had an argument - does a 'Battlebliss location' actually exist at this point in any way, shape or form, or is Rapture of Rupture the only location on the table (and therefore its power is irrelevant, as even if you fail Charisma/Diplomacy check - you have nowhere to go)?

At that point, no other locations existed, making movement impossible, so per the golden rules, you ignore that instruction.

The Battlebliss locations no longer exist, so there is nowhere else to move. You can also reason that by the Golden Rule when Scenarios overrule Locations.

Thanks, guys. That's how we played in the end, but somehow it tripped us up enough that a confirmation was preferred. Cheers.
