Orc Witch Doctor stats wrong?

Rules Questions

Can someone explain how the Orc Witch Doctor can cast 5th level witch spells while having an INT of only 12?

Is there some rule I'm missing, or is this NPC actually built incorrectly?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I bet it was built with the preerrata scarred witchdoctor rules, they cast off of con back then...

Edit: yep, under SQ you will notice "constitution dependant."

it's an NPC, it doesn't have to respect the common rules applying to PCs.

or Java Man has it, looking in my preerrata ARG, I would have said that char is perfect... where are the erratas published?

Klorox, the Errata for a book can be found on its product page. Here is the product page for the ARG and the Errata is in the product description.

Firelock, the Monster Codex came out before the errata was released that changed the Scarred Witch Doctor from a Constitution caster to an Intelligence caster. I just went and compared the release dates for the Monster Codex and the ARG just to be sure.
