In order to attract new comic sales, DC has announced that starting next month they will begin monthly reboots of their entire comic book universe. All future issues will start at #1. DC hopes that by starting over every month, they will avoid the need to have a major reboot event every 3-5 years. Marvel comics had no comment, because they wouldn't stop laughing.

You got this from The Onion, right?

I for one am more enthralled by DC's Gothem and rather than a comic book series endlessly focused on the rebooting Batman's early days, I'd like to see them work backwards, starting with a issue 0 pre-origin story about his delightful night at the theatre, then back from there.

or someplace similar. Either way it's not true
Rebirth is getting a 5th reprinting and by and large the rest of DC's books are selling pretty well right now.
Plus the Rebrith story line is supposed to be planned out for the next two years.
Now admittedly there will be new #1s during that time for certain. DC seems to be adding a few titles to their list each month right now but they are doing it gradually. They started with their big guns and have added other series as they go. Raven and Cyborg started their own books last week, Teen Titans should be in the next month or so and Super Sons is a few months away still
