Greeting, i have a PFS Saurian Shaman Druid that just hit fourth, and i have plans for his dino- an Ankylosaur.
That said, the plan is to have him eventually learn Combat Patrol, and to assume the stance when given the Guard action.
That's the question- can my Dino, when I increase his intelligence at lvl 9, can he learn Combat Patrol?
4: +1 Con [hated it having only 9 con]
5: Improved Natural Attack
[7 Size Progression]
8/9: Mobility, +1 Int
10: Combat Patrol
RAW, the AC progression said that with an Int of 3+ an AC can take any feat within reason.

Animal companions (or any creature) should be assumed to be able to use the feats they have gained (with a handle animal check if appropriate). A GM should stop you from teaching the feat to your AC if they feel it cannot use it.
Anything else is just a little insane.
This is explicitly true for PFS

FYI
Prerequisites: Combat reflexes, Mobility, base attack bonus +5.
Benefit: As a full-round action, you may set up a combat patrol, increasing your threatened area by 5 feet for every 5 points of your base attack bonus. Until the beginning of your next turn, you may make attacks of opportunity against any opponent in this threatened area that provokes attacks of opportunity. You may move as part of these attacks, provided your total movement before your next turn does not exceed your speed. Any movement you make provokes attacks of opportunity as normal.
so it requires 2 feats and BAB.
