So I'm in a home brew campaign that is low magic, and wealth. That being said we can take up any magic class but if used in public the ruling presence will have you killed unless you can deflect the cause. I'm trying to decide now that we have played a few games, and see how the world is with magic if adding in some magus levels would be worth it or just allow my sneak attack to build. The other plus to it would be crafting magic items.

A Blade Bound multiclass character will have an extremely restricted Black Blade, and you can never improve a Black Blade beyond what it's stats actually grant.
If you've got 13CHA, you can always take Eldritch Heritage with the Arcane Bloodline to get an Arcane Bond weapon; for all Arcane Bond purposes you've got a (character level -2) Sorcerer level, which means access to pretty good crafting ability on your bonded item.
