So, when my current games ends I'm thinking I want to do a campaign that is a steampunk setting. I am curious about how the world is set up? Is there a better steampunk setting? How are the races affected in a steampunk world? I know that orcs are civilized, but not much else.
The reviews say that the vehicle rules hold up well, is this true in your mileage? Can a person use to classic fantasy settings still have lots of fun with this setting?

I've researched a number of existing Pathfinder-based ones and Pure Steam is certainly one of the betters and more "general" ones that exist.
Alternatives exist though, as do porting over things from other systems. Its largely about what you want out of it and how much work you're willing to put in etc
