Combat Style Student: At 2nd level, a bloody-knuckled rowdy gains a bonus feat. This bonus feat must be a style feat or a feat with a style feat as a prerequisite. The bloodyknuckled rowdy treats his bloodrager levels as monk levels when qualifying for and calculating the effects of style feats and feats that have style feats as prerequisites. At 5th level, the bloody-knuckled rowdy gains the Combat Style Master feat. He doesn’t need to meet the prerequisites for this feat. This ability replaces uncanny dodge and improved uncanny dodge.

So, seeing as how you are only 2nd level, it's nearly impossible to qualify for any style feats (in fact, Snapping Turtle is the only one I can see)... So does the "He doesn't need to meet the prerequisites" apply to both 2nd and 5th level, or only 5th level?

Only 5th based on the quote.

Yeah, this is an interesting case. You really can't qualify for most styles.

If you're allowed to use retraining rules you could always retrain that feat slot once you're higher level, but it sucks that it doesn't work very well as written.

Wow.. Quite an oversight... The simple fix is to have this work like the Master of many styles.. But that may make too much sense for some people

Which Master of Many Styles? Pre- or post-errata?

Alright, that's what I was afraid of. So by the RAW it's a pretty bad archetype unless you actually want Snapping Turtle Style.

You could be a multiclass one.

Otherwise: By 2nd without multiclassing
1. By taking Combat Expertise or Dirty Fighting (since it counts as it): you can choose Archon Style, Kobold Style
2. Dodge lets you take Crane Style
3. Bludgeoner lets you take Cudgel Style
4. Combat Reflexes lets you take Panther Style
6. Snapping Turtle: no Prereq

Scarab Sages

You could also easily take any of the weapon or armor styles, simply by taking weapon/armor focus. Outslug style and ascetic style in particular would be useful to the Bloody knuckled rowdy.

Ahh that's not as bad. Just means I have to delay my Eldritch Heritage plans one level unless I go with snapping turtle. :P (I'm making a character just for fun, doubt I'll ever play her)
