Dead Animal Companion

Rules Questions

Dumb question about the rules:

If I wanted my Animal Companion dead (for obvious reasons), would I be allowed to do so in character creation? (i.e.: say my Animal Companion died sometime before my time adventuring?) Or would I be forced to kill the animal in some way (i.e.: stupid battle tactics) in order to kill it?

Ask your GM territory.

What about PFS?

Pathfinder Lost Omens Subscriber

are you a hunter? :P

if this is about the worm archetype:

Page 98—In the Verminous Hunter archetype’s
Leech vermin focus, in the first sentence, remove the
parenthetical “(this bleed stacks with itself )”. In the
Worm vermin focus, remove “fast healing 1 (Pathfinder
RPG Bestiary 300) and” from the first sentence, remove
“fast healing 2 and” from the second sentence, and
remove “fast healing 3 and” from the second sentence.

SRd is not up-to-date

besides that A very quick lookyloo seems to say it's allowed for PFS. can totally be wrong here though, no idea if there's been an official response.

It's not about the Worm archetype persay, morso the "Kill off your own animal to gain the buff" that got me asking if I can pre-kill the animal or if I have to actively try to kill it.

Scarab Sages

If you are playing a hunter, have you looked at the feral hunter archetype? They start off with no animal companion and have the permanent buff, and gain wild shape.

Not necessarily an answer to my question, though I suppose it does make my question no longer valid... lol thanks Ruske
