Books with Psionic Classes / Archetypes?

Advice and Rules Questions

I'm having a hard time finding a comprehensive list of all the books that have psionic classes. I had been under the impression that Ultimate Psionics had them all the classes and archetypes, but then I was shown a couple of books from a friend that had some that arent in there, such as Zealots and Pathwalkers from the Path of War book. I'm having a hell of a time finding a comprehensive list of all the books that have them. Does anyone know of a comprehensive list of all psionic classes/archetypes sorted by which rulebook it comes from? Just checking the Paizo store has like 140 books listed for psionics, and it doesnt really help since it doesnt tell you specifically which ones are covered in the ultimate psionics.... Would appreciate some help with this, thanks!

Unfortunately, you are in the wrong forum; Psionics is exclusively a third party creation, and there are not any archetypes or content for it in Paizo books.

I've gone ahead and flagged this thread to be moved.

Also, if any of you know specifically which ones have specifically Collective classes, features, feats etc, that would be great

Oh really? My mistake, I assumed that since it was in the paizo store it was a subsidiary of Paizo. Sorry about that

You are looking for Dreamscarred Press.

There isn't a comprehensive list so feel free to make one. Also, it will always be outdated as Dreamscarred adds more to their psionic library each month.

As has been said, there really isn't such an index. You're probably accustomed to seeing things on d20pfsrd organized so you can look for these things, but since the psionics ruleset is non-Paizo, and because d20pfsrd is 100% volunteer labour, the coverage isn't total.

That said, here's the deal. Ultimate Psionics is the base product you start with. It's sort of like the Core Rulebook in terms of having the normal classes and powers and feats and whatnot. After UP was published, there have been some additional newer releases that have some psionic content in them. There have been "splatbooks" which expand specific classes, such as the Soulknife. There have also been psionic archetypes presented in at least one of the Path of War books (definitely PoW: Expanded). PoW:E was actually fully released about a month ago, so we're talking very new here.

But as has been said, you're looking for the books by Dreamscarred Press. You can probably look for a release date to give you an idea when things came out, since you're looking for post-UP content. Also, as far as I know, not all of Ultimate Psionics has been posted to d20pfsrd either.

Cerulean Seas: Waves of Thought and Cerulean Seas: Indigo Ice also contains some additional psionic material, although aimed at adventuring in undersea environments. They are both based on the Dreamscarred Press psionics.

Waves of Thought has the following psionic material:

Psionic races

  • Amphian: Humanoid top half, clownfish bottom half. Charismatic nomad society loosely based on Romani stereotypes.
  • Thalassic Asrai: Plane-touched (plane of water) humanoids with the appearance of sea-elves. Gender is superficial and not related to procreation. Calm, peaceful, soft-spoken, until they are not.
  • Melusine: Eel-like lower body with an armored humanoid upper body. Elongated skull (think Protoss from Starcraft). They have complicated genetics and offspring of varying levels of intelligence.
  • Merkoth: Octopus lower half with a humanoid upper body and face. They despise the company of other members of their race. Their young are raised by foster parents from other races.
  • Benethic Naga: Underwater psionic naga with coloration akin to a sea snake and a more reptilian top half. Secretive.
  • Zef: Psionic squid-like mollusk parasite which uses another race of humanoid snails as host bodies.
  • Seafolk Half-Races: Seafolk cross-breeds of Amphians, Melusine, Benethic Naga.

Psionic Classes
Aquanaut: Uses psychometabolic disciplines to alter their bodies and take on characteristics and mutations based on the sea life around them. Full-BAB frontliners or skirmishers.

Psionic Prestige Classes
Current Adept: Half-BAB class that focuses on using telekinetics to control their environment around them for movement, attack, and defense.
Shark Incarnate: Full-BAB melee class with psionic abilities themed around sharks.

Indigo Ice has the following psionic prestige classes:

Cyrokineticist: 3/4 BAB psionic character themed around ice/cold.
