Interweave kinetic blast + sneak attack

Rules Questions

Hello forum folks, a friend and I are building a tag team of kineticist, and taking the interweave blast feat. Both our characters are dipping an unarmed fighting class and taking kinetic fist. Sneak attack used to up damage, with kinetic fist while flanking a target. The question here is, if we arent in range, we have decided to use range blast, interweave and deal more damage.

Sneak attack applies to blasts, and if we assume both of us have sneak attack, does the interweave blast get the sneak attack damage from both characters, seeing sneak attack stacks? This is assuming they meet the requirements for applying sneak attack damage.

While no immediate clarifications on the subject exist, the flavor of the spell certainly involves both kineticists attacking the target, and therefore both meeting the prerequisites for Sneak Attack.

However, how it probably actually works is that the person who is making the attack roll for the blast is the only one who gets to add sneak attack damage to it. This is likely the person who did not ready.

As an aside, note that if you are using Stealth to apply Sneak Attack, that it is effectively impossible to use Gather Power and still have an enemy unaware of you.

Appreciate the point of view, not completely convinced that only one characters sneak attack would apply.

Yes, I read a post about sneak attack and blasts and the stealth/gather power was brought up. Makes complete sense not to allow it.

As for both meeting the requirements for sneak attack, as in the original post this is assuming they do.

My initial thought was that only the individual making the attack roll would get to add sneak attack damage. The other individual is only providing extra energy, not actually guiding it to the right spot.
I can't find anything to substantiate that though.

The feat doesn't specify who makes the attack roll, which is the problem, because that makes a big difference when feats, abilities, and Dexterity modifiers are involved. (Especially since the feat heavily implies it's best with one high Dexterity kineticist and one high Constitution one.)

So I can see this working one of two ways:

1) The kineticists take a primary / secondary role. The secondary readies their blast and does not need to do anything else. Their feats, abilities, etcetera don't apply. The primary kineticist is the only one allowed to Gather Power (let's forget for a moment that you can ready an action and still take a move action), and is the one who makes the attack roll, as appropriate for their attributes, feats, etc, and can apply Sneak Attack damage.

2) Both kineticists attack at the same time. Both of them make attack rolls as appropriate for their simple blast, modified by feats as appropriate, but using the newly specified point of origin for determining cover. If both hit, you get the composite blast as listed, and since both are attacking, Sneak Attack applies to both.

While 2 might seem like the ideal one, the rules very seriously don't support it, and it comes across as clunky. 1 looks to me like the one supported most by the wording, but it means the secondary kineticist doesn't have any purpose to Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, etc. And with how apparently you can't gather power with your move action... the feat seems poorly written.

I'd suggest that the kineticist contributing the dex modifier for the feat is the "attacker", since dex is only used for the attack portion.

Or you could keep with the "average between the two" and use the average attack bonus of the two kineticists and add the average of each of their D20 rolls.

As far as the Sneak Attack part, I would say that the player who's current turn (e.g. using their full turn and not delayed action) is the only one that gets to add the SA bonus, OR whichever player has the higher SA bonus, because it is a single attack and should only benefit from a single source of precision damage. The attack isn't doubly precise just because it came from two people.
