I'll admit that after 30 years I've developed my own playstyle and am pretty hardwired into it, but I'd love to game with others to get fresh ideas. They might pick up one or two from me, as well. It'd all be good.

I actually was tempted to invite you to a pbp game before Jiggy's, but alas it seems that it was hard for you and I don't think I could do better than him at gming.
Inviting you to gm in pbp seems also not an option since you were looking to be a player.
Thanks for thinking of me, though. I sincerely appreciate it. And I do just seem to do better at face to face interaction than online.

Big Norse Wolf, because I disagree as strongly as possible with their interpretations of a few rules, I've never played with someone who had those interpretations, and I think it would be enlightening to see how they work in practice and not just forum theory-crafting. Don't knock it till you try it, I suppose.
Just because I have a feeling it would be interesting to say the least, say, TOZ, Kobold Cleaver, Kirth and, oh, Scythia.
No insult to anyone else left off because I could generate a lot of interesting groups of four here.

I think that there are very few people on the boards that I would not play with. In fact there is only one right now and that has to do with non-game related stuff instead of game related stuff. ~shrugs~ If someone can put up with me, I figure that it is only fair to return the favor.

Captain Yesterday, cause he just seems like he'd come up with the wildest characters...but never in a serious, gritty campaign. Only something off the wall and wild, and mythic.
Jiggy seems like he'd be a wicked good GM. His understanding of the nature of the game and it's multitude dynamics is impressive.
N. Jolly would be great to have as a teammate, helping everyone optimize their characters to go against a really brutal GM.
I want to play a game with Tacticslion where he's a paladin, I'm a necromancer, and we're LG and LE, and worship the same LN god, and have sworn an oath to work together and never kill one another. Just...seems like he'd be great at that. He's just really so incapable of being a badguy, it would be an awesome dynamic to have him as my frienemy in a game (I like playing villains).
Nobodyshome seems like a real laid back guy, and cool to play with. He also has told some stories that tells me he needs some better people to play with in-person than he currently has.
Kobold Cleaver just seems like he really gets into his characters, especially his own self-actualized character on this board, and seems like he'd be real fun for a roleplay-heavy game.
I want to GM for DMCal. He needs it. He deserves a good long run as a player and not a GM. He seems like a cool dude who has been pigeonholed.
Everyone who has ever played in my PbPs I had up for a while. They're really great sports, and awesome RPers, and I'd love to throw down a game with them in person. In fact, if I ever get the internet situation in my house to something regular, maybe I should consider switching from PbP to some kind of Skype game or something....hmm...
Anyone I've chatted with regularly. I feel like a jerk if I didn't add you, but there's so many names there, and it's mostly for the factor of "the best thing for a good game is good people" and you guys are good people. This includes the FaWtL crew, people who hang out at my tea thread, and the many private messages I've gotten by people for various reasons.
Well, I'm adding kyrt-ryder to my list here soon. Almost got into the game with DMCal. Next time, man, next time.

I'm sure you can, but I think it'd be really fun to play a game with you as something with humorous tones. Or at least humorous serious combination, like Futurama or Archer.

I think we need to start up a G.O.A.T.A.L PbP, then place bets on how long it takes to be a) closed down b) for permabans to be handed out left, right and centre and c) for the whole internet to be nuked from orbit to expunge any evidence that it ever existed.

I chose only 4 players, to match the number I'm most comfortable with GMing. Chose people who had the biggest influence on my time on these boards when I was really active.
Lots of other folks would be great to play games with, and indeed I ran many a PbP with some great players here.
There are others who seem like great folks, but I reckon our play styles and general ideas on gameplay and balance probably wouldn't have us geling at the game table too well. I'd share a beer or two with all of the posters here though. It is still one of the friendliest gaming forums I've been on.

I echo this sentiment, though I don't drink alcohol, I'd down a coffee, tea, or other beverage and be the DD to drive you folks home!

Yeah, I'd totally play with the Kretzinater (I am calling you this from now on, John, and you should totally make it your new most used alias "The Kretzinater" - I think it's a nickname that can stick. I believe in it.). Add John Kretzer to my list. You'd been so quiet lately, JK, I figured you'd disappeared.
Oh, and that dude who was really into Norse history and mythology, who hit the boards hard and then disappeared a while back...Anuis the Talewise...whatever happened to him? He seemed like he'd be cool for a historic game.

I have been around I have just been tied up up in Mistress Rysky's dungeon of late. And no I don't need to be rescued. I found you have to be clear with adventurers when you mention the word Dungeons.

I would personally love to GM a game for Lucky, Anius, and my daughter, they're all kind of in the same age bracket (12-20 or so) and I bet the combination of off the wall tactics, eating your enemies and gender fluid Vikings would be epic.

It's my observation that very few of people I've played with on the PbP boards have much of a presence outside of the PbP boards. So, I am excluding the awesome people who I am gaming with already. (The only exception that comes to mind is Misroi, who's a player in my Runelords PbP.)
I'm also excluding current Paizo employees, any of whom I would love game with.

I'll admit, when I saw Freehold's comment tonight my brain went in a completely inappropriate direction.
Every PbP is an opportunity to learn something new, both as a player and whichever character I am portraying.
That I had a brief mention earlier I'm thankful for, but remaining incognito and occasionally appearing seems to work better my speed.
That being said, significant and ample thanks to those who have taken me along on their adventures thus far!
