Boosting Knowledge Religion

Advice

What are some ways to boost knowledge religion checks? I have a cleric that likes to think of herself as an undead expert but her intelligence isn't through the roof to really back that up. I'm specifically looking for ideas that do not include traits/point buy manipulation.

Thoughts?

Take Skill Focus: Knowledge Religion as a feat? Gives a +3 until 10th level, when it goes up to a +6.

For clerics I'd look for spells. A quick search finds Know the Enemy, Ancestral Communion (dwarf-only, I think) and Channel Vigor. There'll be magic items which can assist too I'm sure.

Edit: also, the knowledge domain power or knowledge/memory subdomain. The latter doesn't specify you have to touch another.

A comprehensive book on undead (Masterwork tool) will get you +2.

For feats skill focus and scholar will get you a total of +5, +10 with 10 ranks.

An assistant can use aid other for an additional +2.

Heroism also adds a +2 to all skills.

Skill focus is good (a feat hurts a little, but absolutely fits the bill).

Channel vigor looks promising in the right situation, but know the enemy takes a whole minute to cast :( Also good in the right situation though, if there are left over spells in the day and I missed a check, I could easily utilize the hefty bonus.

A masterwork tool to identify undead is easy enough to work around. Something that wouldn't have to be referenced would work better, but that is a good solution if I can't come up with something else to flavor it with. The cleric does have the heroism domain, I'll have to remember that when I utilize the spell.

Think of all the ways that people have tried to sneak information in during tests, and base the masterwork tool on those.

Just some quick suggestions:
* A tattoo on the arm that contains mnemonic symbols helping you classify undead.
* Embroidery on the sleeves of a garment, once again mnemonic that helps you classify undead.

I'm sure you can come up with more.

I ran a search for magic items and a knowledge pendant came up. It gives a +5 competence bonus (making channel vigor obsolete for this purpose), plus 1/day as a free action a +10 insight bonus. Just 3100 gp.

Avr refers to the Azlant Pendant, which is nice, but takes the neck slot. If you're not planning anything special there, the +5 competence bonus is good to have (know it only boosts one knowledge skill, decided at creation).

If you're neckslot is already coveted by another item, you could also look at the Cracked Amethyst Pyramid Ion Stone. It is a slotless +2 competence bonus on Religion checks, but only to identify undead. For a bit more money, you could also buy the better stone, namely the Mossy Disk Ion Stone, which grants a +5 Competence bonus on one knowledge.

Since you are a cleric, there is also the Teaching Staff, but action economy wise it isn't something you will activate a lot during combat. Still, it is a Sacred/Profane bonus equal to your channel dice.

For out of combat, carry around a Pathfinder Chronicle. It's is a +2 circumstance bonus on one type of Knowledge check. Buy one for each of the knowledges that you're trained in, it's worth it.
