3rd party pathfinder list of products: Name 'em all!

Product Discussion

The Exchange

OK, so I wanted to do a rundown list of all the 3rd party Pathfinder products together as a community so that others new to the 3rd party spectrum of Pathfinder could have a collective list of resources to choose from and look up. Include all of 'em, even ones out of print. I want to see every nook, every cranny of the internet scourged in the resource finding frenzy.

I'll start:
Ultimate Psionics
Tome of Secrets

I think this is pretty much all of them. 6608 as of this writing. It does not include free content that was published on a publisher's website only (i.e., not added as a free PDF to the OBS store). It does not include any products not being sold on OBS, but there aren't all that many of those (the only two notable publishers who don't use OBS are Steve Jackson Games and Paizo.)

At any rate, OBS' filter gives you a more complete list than you are likely to get just by naming products off the top of your head.

That's great, but I want everything posted here.

I want ice cream.

I'd rather see best/"best parts of" 3rd party materials.

Don't forget about the obscure ones from bankrupt groups. Andronia is the one I know of (and own a physical copy of the campaign setting). Take a look for it on Kickstarter for it. Here.

Also, Endzeitgeist is probably a good place to start for finding the best of and detailed reviews of 3pp materials.

It's a nice idea in theory, but there are literally *hundreds* of 3PP products. There is no way they could all be listed here, and even if you somehow could ... what would be the point?

Honestly, I'm ALL for promoting Third Party publishers but there are much better ways to do it, and much better resources, some very good examples of which have already been mentioned here in this thread

Thousands, not hundreds.

Plenty have done something similar. How about most underrated? Something you don't feel gets the love it deserves.

Probably 8000 to 9000 products.

Looks into thread.

For the love of whatever... Why?!

There is absolutely zero value to knowing the names of every 3PP product out there. The fact that the OP only generated 2 product names to "start the list", when even a cursory scan of the store on this site will produce literally thousands of products, strongly suggests that the OP has no idea of the scale of the request.

It would be far more useful to have lists of subsets of 3PP books: list of awesome classes, list of awesome monster books, list of awesome mass combat rules, list of awesome weather rules, etc. And even then, it's probably just best to point people at endzeitgeist.com and tell them to search.

You're both right!

I could, potentially, see some use in making lists of 3pp Pathfinder lines of products, along with (really) quick descriptions, just so people might have a better idea what to look for.

But even that seems likely to be too big to be of any use. Even just a list of 3pp currently producing Pathfinder-compatible material might be too unwieldy.

I don't think I could even describe with specificity the kinds of products produced by the top 20 3pp.

Well, I know that having a nearly complete list of all things D&D helped me immensely to check what I have and what I don't, so having something like that for all things Pathfinder holds a certain appeal to me even if it would have to be a work in progress. On the other hand, I'm already overwhelmed by the Pathfinder stuff I have so maybe it's better if I don't know what I've already missed.
