Song of Marching + Harmonic Spell

This came up in the Masterpiece thread.

If a Skald is singing Song of Marching over the course of an hour, can they use Harmonic Spell to switch to Inspired Rage as a swift action after casting a spell?

(Su) At 3rd level, a skald can use raging song to inspire his allies to move faster without suffering from fatigue. By expending 1 round of raging song, the skald invigorates allies within 60 feet, who may hustle for the next hour; this movement counts as a walk (not a hustle) for the purpose of accruing nonlethal damage and fatigue. The skald must continue to perform the song for the remainder of the hour, otherwise its effects end, but only 1 round of raging song is expended for that hour.

Benefit: Whenever you cast a 1st or higher level spell while you are maintaining a bardic performance, you can maintain the bardic performance for that round without expending one of your rounds of performance for the day. In addition, you can switch from one bardic performance to another as a swift action when you cast a spell while maintaining a bardic performance.

I'd read it that you CAN use Harmonic Spell to switch from Song of Marching to Inspired Rage as a swift action after casting a spell... but that the effects of Song of Marching immediately end if you do.

That certainly gives level 3-4 Skalds a nice buff. Burn one round of Performance to march, and you get Swift action rage if you open with a spell.
