Questions about Kintargo to help character gen.

Hell's Rebels

So my character is going to be the great grandson of an excommunicated member of house Sarini but I can't seem to figure out anything that would warrant such censure from a noble family of Kintargo and cause some disdain to be aimed at his/her progeny? Perhaps courting with a not pure blooded ethnic Chelaxian like say a half-Orc?

Second is I can't understand any of the hatred towards Tieflings. Why do they hate them? What do they assume of their qualities that are inherent and so bad? Why would people with some devil in them receive such hate from a society that works so closely with Devils, thinks highly of them and emulates the structures of their society? I was kind of wanting to have my character be struggling to overcome his negative view of tieflings that has developed from living in Cheliax all his life. Oh and we're retconning this party as a team who was part of the Silver Ravens since our last party suffered a tpk at the hands of the Red Jills while trying to propose an alliance with them so that's not helping either. I'm really wanting to base his thoughts on Tieflings on this skit from Tales of Symphonia. https://youtu.be/UWSQnPsi1wU

From House Sarini specifically? Not being an Asmodean toady should cut it. Their standards about such things are much stricter than normal in Kintargo. It helps that the Kintargo branch is but one part of a geographically-extensive family.

This is explained more fully in Council of Thieves-associated material than in Hell's Rebels-associated material. Basically the official line is that Hell exists to serve Cheliax - as a model, certainly, but also in a literal, subordinate sense. It's all absolute bosh, of course. Hell knows better, and so do the regime's enemies, but that's the official line. Tieflings are at the same time the result of race mixing (something anathema to Chelaxian chauvinists, despite the Chelaxian ethnicity itself being a mix between Azlantis and Ulfen - chauvinism doesn't have to make sense), and evidence either that a human saw a devil as a mate-worthy equal or that a devil dominated a human for at least a brief time. Tieflings are thus, to Egorian, despised as evidence of human weakness when their whole ideology builds up Chelaxian superiority.

As should really be expected, Kintargo as a whole doesn't really toe the official line.

The two are also tied together, potentially: If somebody fell in love with or got tricked or dominated by a Devil, and they were found out, they would automatically be prime candidates for excommunication, in line with the answer to the second part of your post.
