Weapon Mastery and know weakness?

lvl 19 and lvl 20 lorewarden.

Reading on the lore warden's "Know Weakness"
makes me wonder what does it even give?
Since at lvl 20 Weapon Mastery makes it completely irrelevant.

By chance have i misunderstood this?

"Know Weakness (Ex)

At 19th level, a lore warden can automatically confirm a critical hit once per round when he threatens a critical hit.

This ability replaces armor mastery."

"Weapon Mastery (Ex)

At 20th level, a fighter chooses one weapon, such as the longsword, greataxe, or longbow. Any attacks made with that weapon automatically confirm all critical threats and have their damage multiplier increased by 1 (×2 becomes ×3, for example). In addition, he cannot be disarmed while wielding a weapon of this type."

Know weakness can be used with any weapon. Weapon mastery is only one type. So you can auto confirm that siege engine crit, or any other weapon you may pick instead of the weapon mastery pick.

Hmm, at least not completely irrelevant, but it is tough how limited in alternatives the fighters seems to be in taking more than 1 archtype.
I noticed I could have taken another, to get something else than weapon mastery but sacrificing what it asked would ruin the character idea.

Guess I might consider multi classing when/if the character gets to the given lvls
