Player looking for a game

Dark Archive 1/5

Greetings and salutations! It's been a while since I visited the forums. I've been working, which unfortunately means my schedule conflicts with the local PFS lodge's meeting days and times. Which in turn means I've got characters who are just sitting around gathering dust. This is a situation I feel is unbearable. So I thought to seek assistance.

I'm looking for either a PFS play-by-post game or maybe D20 Pro based virtual tabletop games. Don't really know much about Roll20, so there is that. For Virtual Tabletop games I do have limits on time. I usually work evenings, from 6 or 7 till well after midnight. Often weekdays, but weekends are possible too. As such I'm mostly looking for a play-by-post game.

As for level range and format, well, I'd ideally love a standard game. I really want to continue playing Kahel (who is level 4 right now) after all.

Kahel, get yourself hooked into the Flaxseed Lodge. Many of the PFS PbP games are announced there first and it's a first rate community.

Cool, thanks for the info GM Hmm. Also on an unrelated note, I suppose I should scan my chronicles for a few characters and place them on a USB chip. That way I can submit characters for a game. Something I hadn't gotten around to doing yet due to how many chronicles I have on some of them.

Good idea to have, just in case, but very few of the PbP games do character audits. It's a good idea though to have your whole character sheet in your profile. Many players also have a list of all the games they've previously played on a character in a spoiler on that character.

So here is one of my characters... You can see her formatted character sheet, though I was lazy and didn't include all my prior chronicles on her.

Bad, bad me!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I had also sent you a pm a few days back with some links to a few games that are still open if you are interested. The little envelope near your name in the top right.

One thing to keep in mind with many of the games on the Flaxseed thread is that many of the GMs there do roll offs for seats, (vs first come first serve). I only bring it up because it can be a bit surprising to new players.

Other good places to check for games are the Online Play Recruitment forums, (look for key words PFS, PbP or Skype, etc. . . but avoid ones that say Closed), or you can check out Myth Weavers or the PFS Online Collective.
