A question: does this forum software give moderators the ability to split threads and move some sub-thread to a new thread, or move an off-topic (for the particular forum) thread to a more appropriate place? Just curious.
Definitely the last one, and since they can merge threads, I suspect the tools are sophisticated enough to do any movement of posts required.

We can merge or move threads, but we will not accommodate "re-homing" individual posts to different threads. That's just crossing the streams a bit too much.
