So, with cosplay now granting rerolls, what clever ideas have people come up with for cosplay at the table?

Okay, I have to express a concern.
What is the 'cosplay' limit?
If someone who is significantly aromatic in the 'bad way' comes in wearing say, a Seoni cosplay, do they still get seated?
Is that outfit considered 'safe' for a PG13 environment, even?
Does someone who has spent the time and effort to put together an amazing Amiri or Alain get a second seat at the table to handle their massive weaponry?
Do players that have notably BAD hygiene issues/clothing and grey hair get to claim 'Drendle Dreng' is THEIR cosplay?
I know there's a new codification for Player Conduct, but this new cosplay option might be an issue?

You can't leave the house in a perfectly true-to-art Seoni cosplay, no. (It's impossible to wear any sort of underwear with it. Thanks, Wayne Reynolds.) But I don't think there's a single cosplayer out there who would look at that character and decided making a perfectly accurate version of it would be a good idea.
Also, I don't think there's a con, gameday or other gaming event that would let someone in who is very blatantly not wearing any sort of pants.
Also also, I don't see where on the reroll page it is stated that cosplay somehow makes you exempt from other rules of good behavior, such as taking care of your personal hygiene or not spreading your stuff around everywhere.

Alright, Seoni's outfit is absurd (it must be held on by her special bloodline arcana) but it's possible to do a street legal version of it. You start by doing what ballerinas do -- spandex that matches your pariticular skin tone, and then adding the little strips of cloth that Seoni is supposedly wearing to adventure in.
Personally, I would love to see someone show up with the wild hair and rumpled clothing of Dreng. I've never seen anything in an adventure that says he smells bad, just that he looked like a bum.
I'd love to be Quinn with his stylish coat. Frankly, I think I could do a great job with Sheila Heidmarch. I already have the tiara and the ballgowns. I'm just wondering if I could GM in them... Oh, oh! Calisro! I could totally do Calisro! It requires cute little tusks and a little green makeup. And her pirate-inspired clothes -- already in my closet! Lini would be fun, carrying a cloud leapard stuffed animal, and a spiky green wig. Yoon will be just adorable. I so want a stuffed owlbear, since I have a character, Baroness Bobbi, with a real one.
Though I think if I do cosplay, it might have to be ask my own character, Doom Girl. It's the mask that appeals to me there!

I don't see any requirement that the CosPlay be related to Pathfinder.
I suspect this was added because a number of conventions encourage CosPlay and usually a Pathfinder t-shirt would not fit in with those costumes. Allowing the costume to count means you aren't turning away players because they wanted to participate in other parts of the convention.
On the other hand, I like some of the CosPlay ideas given above for Pathfinder characters and would like to encourage people to keep posting them.

To date, I've only been in costume for Pathfinder to run a pirate-themed scenario on talk-like-a-pirate day.
I came dressed as a bee to SkalCon because Jon Dehning had dubbed me a 'poker of beehives' on our Meetup group. I figured, if I'm going to have such a title, I'd better own it. I even distributed little mini jars of honey to all my players and to my various GMs. When I helped out at HQ that day, I could tell everyone I was 'winging' it.
Alas, the bee outfit would not count as cosplay... Unless I came up with a bee-themed character. Maybe a vigilante worshipper of Calistria? No, wait a minute. I should not make a character to just so that I can wear its costume, no matter how tempting the thought of this is!
Or should I?

There are lots of costumers that do stitching for hire... I can't sew but I can hire those who can!!! My daughter is a budding special effects makeup artist. She even makes her own prosthetics. I'm going to have to show her the image of Calisro and see what she can come up with for me.
Meanwhile, Shelia Heidmarch is in reach!

I could also easily do Jasmine Wu. Kimono, fox ears, stuffed monkey -- I have all this! However that would mean Bret would have to come as his Nagaji... Eh, maybe that won't happen!
Jared, I like how you're thinking here. At Convergence, I had some fantastic costumes at my game table, and the group did draw a crowd.

I've not made tusks in awhile, but there used to be something you could pick up from Toys-R-Us that worked great. I'm trying to remember what it was called, but effectively they were plastic balls a bit larger than bb's that you would drop in boiling water and they melted together and became malleable for awhile so you could mold them to fit your mouth / teeth. They didn't have to be super-hot to be malleable and if you needed to adjust, you just dropped them in boiling water again.

No worries. More grar was there than intended. Likely from exhaling my vanilla coke through my nose.

Rereading it, yes it does say that. Bummer.
So what doesn't count? If somebody is wearing a Captain America CosPlay, do they get a re-roll? Does the answer change if their character is a certain class and archetype?
Are fox ears and a tail enough to qualify as a Kitsune CosPlay?
Guess I'll have to take it on a case by case basis, unless it gets clarified.

As has been raised above, what counts as 'Pathfinder Society' cosplay?
Iconics?
Player Characters?
Notable NPCs?
Notable monsters/creatures?
And how is a GM supposed to fairly consider someone that might just, say, wear a hat Like I've done for some characters versus someone who does an AMAZING '10' outfit?
Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be harsh on this, I'm trying to:
A. Figure out if there is ANYTHING in Pathfinder I can dress as.
B. Feel confident in the outfit.
C. Not look horrible in.
But I'm also my own worst critic, so it might paralyze my choice to play if say, someone came in with an awesome cosplay and mine looked like garbage next to it?
ESPECIALLY if the GM gives the reroll to the awesome cosplay but not to me because I 'hadn't done enough'.

Wei Ji, I can only speak for myself, but if someone puts forth the effort to show up at one of my table as a monster, a PC, an Iconic, an NPC, or anything like it then O am going to give them a reroll. If theu just show up with a hat, like you said you have done, I would be semi-skeptical, but would go with it If you could justify it to me (or if it was a really nice hat).
There's not really one be-all end-all answerto your question, GM's will have to remember to use their discretion, and to not be a jerk.

I only have one character that does that 'hat' thingAs stated above, there's a serious confidence/capability issue there.
The concern I'd have about some monsters is trigger range.
I have a particular trigger. I know others do, too, it's a common trigger.
If someone sat down dressed amazingly well as trigger, would that then be violating community guidelines for me as a player if I had been sitting at the table and they sat down at the last moment?
Would I be violating community guidelines for them by expressing my concern?
I am trying to 'feel out' what the rule would be here, and what my rights would be.
Thank you to folks for understanding and respecting that, and hopefully my tone has been respectful in turn, and if it has not, please accept my apologies.

Between my hair and my gut, Mavaro is the only iconic I could pull off.
But if I ever get around to playing PFS at cons again, I'll probably dress in character.
It's more amusing that way.
*Edit*
On second thought...no...
The character I'd WANT to cosplay as is my Qadiran merchant alchemist.
Something tells me that I'd be strung up if I showed to a Con as a white guy dressed as a Saracen, and I'm not sure what group of people would do the stringing.
There's my issue.
Most of my characters are humans of different ethnicity than mine, and any attempt I have at merely dressing like them will spark outrage within one group or another.

You're probably fine as long as you:
- don't try to alter your skin tone- don't treat a real culture as a costume, with special care taken to avoid stereotypical portrayals
- do some research and consulting to do your best to be respectful and not overstep boundaries

I've been toying with doing a cleric of Abadar cosplay, Getting the robes together wouldn't be that hard, but there is a major obstacle. I don't want to do anything other than a good job and, well, I'm not sure how to pull off a proper holy symbol (i.e. with the carving in it). GEtting it to GenCon by plane would be tricky too :)
