favored class racial bonuses

Is there a faq or guide for these?

so some favored class racial bonuses give extra spells... particularly there are some that give spells from other class lists... such as the Wayang gives the oracle illusion spells from the wizard spell list.

what other spell list bonuses are there?

Nethys will list them all by race, d20pfsrd has them listed in each class description. Tat is the best I know.

The best compilation for favored class bonuses is on the d20pfsrd website. Each class and race has a spot at the bottom where all the applicable favored class bonuses are compiled. For instance, if you look up Wayangs then you'll notice they also get to add Wizard illusion spells to their bard spell list.

yeah, Nethy's tends to be underwhelmingly (lol, spell check wants me to put overwhelming, silly spell check... I meant what I wrote) outdated, but it sites its source most of the times so thats one of the few reasons I peruse it.

I was hoping for some kind of guide for it but I see that the board is full of people who dont realize its there... maybe I should make a guide ;p there's a lot of good stuff in it, some of it is mentioned in the race guide but thats a pretty rough opinion guide more then a helpful list guide as it doesnt actually, usually, list what the different options DO...

I see a way to have three spell casting lists from a half elf shaman, the half elf gets to add a cleric spell per level to the shaman spell list... then the shaman can use its wondering hex, wondering spirit, to add spells from the wizard/sorcerer spell list.

Thats a lot of spell options... with a useful class and race...

but what if I was a half elf witch doctor? do I still get to choose the half elf shaman favored class bonus? or how does that change things?

Also samarsan have an alternate race trait to snipe spells off of other lists.

hardly, you get maybe 5 spells? where as when you have a racial bonus to gain a spell per level... you are gaining at 15... and you can be flexible with those choices based on what may be needed. The Samarsan one is set from level 1 and is completely unflexible... bad choice for racial options.
