Level 1 psychic and cause fear

I have a GM who's making pretty liberal use of this spell and I'm just wondering if there's anything at all I can do about it, since even if I pass my save I'm still shaken for a round.

Command does not have an Emotion component. Position yourself to maximize potential AoOs by party members and Command the caster to approach. Forbid Action can also be used with the choice of "cast."

Use Remove Fear liberally. Keep scrolls on hand or learn the spell and pre-buff it if you think Cause Fear is incoming as the CF will simply dispel the RF with no other effects.

keep potions about 2-3 of remove fear handy or scrolls of it.

Add Muderous Command to level 1 offensive spells that only have thought components.

Basically no. The spell is devised to have an effect on a save, so thats it. Players usually use such spells every time they can over those with no effect on a save, too.

The only way to get out of this 1 round is to be immune to fear or mindaffecting effects.

Being out of range may be possible sometimes - it's a close ranged spell, move away and they may not be able to target you.

If being a keleshite fits your build, the trait Pride of the Diamond Empire helps a lot. You might need adopted.

Are they making checks to identify you as a psychic spellcaster? Or is this something that is known? Psychic spellcasting doesn't look that different to normal spellcasting other than the lack of verbal and somatic components, which is possible to achieve with normal spellcasting as well with metamagic feats.

Is your GM slapping you with Cause Fear before you have at least acted?

If you have the abomination discipline you are immune to fear while using Dark Half. Otherwise have some scrolls or spells without somatic components.
