Raised by Wolves

Advice

SO i'm trying to make a Druid and or Hunter class character that fights using things like Spears, staffs, really anything you might see Tarzan using.

I want him to start off with an animal companion, due to his backstory being he was raised by a wolf after his parents were killed.

i'm probably going to take The nature fang Archetype it works well with melee builds and fits the character

race probably human, alternate racial traits allowed. keep it nice and simple.

i'm thinking about maybe taking Evolved companion to make the wolf better.

i'm looking for suggestions and advice regarding class choices, feats, things involved in building. no need for specific stat requirements and advice along those lines.

This would be a great trait for you.

that is a beautiful trait, i'll be taking that....it's mine now

Osirion: Land of Pharoahs (the old player companion) has some great whip feats that might give the kind of flavor you want.

Otherwise, Throw Anything or Catch Off Guard might work as well.

Phalanx Formation is great if you're wanting to use a reach weapon.

Level Dip in Wild Child brawler would keep your animal companion progression up, gets you Improved Unarmed Strike, and Brawler's Cunning which can get you to qualify for Pack Flanking. That with Phalanx Formation would let flank with wolf while standing behind it and it not providing cover to the target.

Tarzan doesn't bring spell casting to mind for me, if you want a pet and to be good at melee, have you looked at wild child brawler?

i haven't actually, i'm not the brawlers biggest fan. i will look at it though. I do like the dip idea though, brawlers cunning is nice and pack flanking works nicely for my idea
