What do we want?
APG Pregens!
When do we want them?
Real Soon!
___
Nefreet and the Fox came up with a nice set of fan made Level One pregens based on the pregens found in Master of the Fallen Fortress. Maybe they could be hired as consultants to put together a set of official 4s and 7s?
The pregens don't have to be perfect... They just have to be good representations of the base classes. It would be lovely to have them available. I know that Paizo staff has their hands full with other work.
Maybe this can be outsourced?
Hmm

Hey folks,
We have the new pregenerated characters ready to debut at Gen Con 2016. We'll see you and the alchemist, cavalier, inquisitor, magus, oracle, summoner, vigilante, and witch iconic characters there!
I thought this had appeared in this week's blog, but I appear to have left it out among all the other new releases.

All this proves that I should listen always to my favorite Venture Captains! Soon indeed!
And thanks to the Paizo team for putting these together! It excites me to see these additions to our pregen family!
Hmm
Have I ever steered you wrong, Poker of Beehives?
don't answer that

They had them the year that the APG debuted, but there were errors with those versions. They promised to revise them and get the corrected versions out asap.
That was 6 years ago.
They were also 15 point buy and I believe created for Master of the Fallen Fortress, not specifically for PFS.

Do you have an ETA on when they will be available for download? Will other pregens be updated and require replacement?

I don't have an exact date. In the past we've seen the pregenerated characters show up for download within a few weeks after Gen Con.

Please no more child pregens though.....I had a table full of Kineticists...there's something wrong about a table of full grown men playing a table of 8 year old girls....
Hmmm, I daresay that's not the pregenerated characters' fault.
Even so, Yoon is a special case in large part because of her iconic backstory and identity. There are no plans to present more young iconic characters—at least none beyond some "never made it beyond the whiteboard" pitches for a Muppet Babies spin on Valeros, Harsk, Merisiel, and Ezren.

Oh, I know why they were pulled, but the fact is at GenCon 2010 they had pregens for all of the APG classes (not just the 4 in MotFF) in big stacks for handing out to players, and they haven't been seen since. And it's not like they fell through a memory hole, people had been asking for the revised versions on a regular basis for almost 6 years now.
I'm glad they are finally making a (re-)debut.

Well a loophole was created that allows players around the standard limitations for character creation in organized play. Somewhere there was a group of six people who wanted to exploit this for laughs.

John thank you. I am looking forward to these pre-gens.
I have a binder with a printed color copy of every single pregen at 1st 4th and 7th level from the Core rulebook, the Advanced class book, and the Psychic adventures book. From the Ultimate Combat I have the Ninja and Samurai printed. I have these printed pre gens for my PFS players to use.
Oh I have the old pre gens from the Advanced Player's guide of the ALchemist, Cavalier, and the Oracle.
I will be happy to add these new other pre gens to my binder for PFS players to use.

Could the new pregens please have wayfinders on their gear list? At least the level 4 and 7 pregens (I can understand it not being realistic at level 1)? The wayfinder is THE signature piece of equipment for members of the Pathfinder Society, with strong implications that most if not all agents should have one, whether they display it openly or not. Yet none of the pregens do! It sends a message that they aren't important.
Please add wayfinders to the new pregens? Please?
Thanks!

It might be wise to consider that there will be a *lot* of things going on at Gen Con, and beating on a topic that's already been mentioned to be on the list of things to be done might be a poor social interaction decision?

Nefreet wrote:** spoiler omitted ***COST* on a Wayfinder is only 250 gp, though. And Pathfinders can get it for that or Free! if they play a certain evergreen.
Who's all on board for marching whole squads of pregens up into the Kortos foothills?
Only the first one is free... after that you get a discounted cost of 1 Prestige...

Anything up to four stars just means someone let you run games. Five stars means someone actually evaluated whether you were any good at it. (For the record: I ran Bonekeep 3 on Friday and didn't kill anyone. So I ain't no good at this game-runnin' thing.)
