Rules Questions

So I know this is probably answered here somewhere but I am having trouble searching it out. I am playing a str monk/druid(saurian) druid build in a game and it is my first time playing a druid. I am trying to wrap my head around the damage dice used for my natural attacks. I am looking at wild shaping to the allosaurus which is huge and at base it's 1d8 damage dice but I am sitting at a monk 1/druid 6 with feral combat training and improved natural attack (claw) which according to one source should make it 2d6. When I look at the tables myself and apply the die step it looks like it should be 1d10 so I am just trying to understand the mingling of these feats for this build. Thanks any help or constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Improved Natural Attack wrote:

Attacks made by one of this creature's natural attacks leave vicious wounds.

Prerequisite: Natural weapon, base attack bonus +4.

Benefit: Choose one of the creature's natural attack forms (not an unarmed strike). The damage for this natural attack increases by one step on the following list, as if the creature's size had increased by one category. Damage dice increase as follows: 1d2, 1d3, 1d4, 1d6, 1d8, 2d6, 3d6, 4d6, 6d6, 8d6, 12d6.

A weapon or attack that deals 1d10 points of damage increases as follows: 1d10, 2d8, 3d8, 4d8, 6d8, 8d8, 12d8.

Special: This feat can be taken multiple times. Each time it is taken, it applies to a different natural attack.

After 1d8 is 2d6.

If additional clarification is needed: feral combat training won't change the damage your claws do. But it will let you use cool stuff like Dragon Style. Also, cast strong jaw so they'll be 4d6.

thanks guys, I appreciate the help, the guides i saw on damage dice showed 1d10 after 1d8 so that's where the confusion was, I appreciate the help!

There was a recent FAQ on damage dice increases.

So Claw goes from 1d8 to 2d6 from the INA (Claws).

Then you may use that Claw weapon in your FoB attack sequence with FCT instead of your 1d6 Monk damage Unarmed Strike.

If you Strong Jaw it won't stack with INA, so it will only do 3d6.
