Question about the crossbowman archtype for a fighter

Rules Questions

I have a player that is running a Fighter (Crossbowman Archtype)/Rogue build. He has a Minotaur Double Crossbow with the works for feats.

My question: Is the Deadshot ability from Crossbowman added to the second arrow for the Minotaur Double Crossbow? No where does it state that it is precision damage. However, since it is being done as a readied action, it is waiting for the precise trigger to activate the shot.

As the archtype levels up to level 7, it is now denying their dex.

PFSRD States: Precision damage is a special type of damage, which might more appropriately be called a "category" of damage because any of the other damage types listed here might also be considered "precision" damage under the right circumstances. Precision damage is usually dealt by classes like the rogue when he is able to catch an opponent unable to fully protect itself.

Does anyone have anymore insight and/or rulings from the powers that be?

Thanks

Yes he would add it since there is nothing that stop it and it's not overpowered in any means.
