Unchained rogue archer Feat help and advice appreciated

Advice

SO i want to build a archer unchained rogue. gonna use the sniper archetype, seems to work with it as it only replaces trap finding and danger sense.

So my idea behind this is to focus less on shooting a bunch of arrows and more on 1 arrow 1 kill, boom head shot, that sort of build. Ducking in and out of the shadows.

feat advice is the main focus, but any kind of advice would be appreciated

So are there any focused shot type builds out there? anything that focuses on 1 good hit vs multiple small shots

as for talents i'm thinking of taking the unchained rogue talent ninja trick to get deadly range and combining that with the ability of the same name from the sniper archetype.

That said rogue might not be the best way to go about this so if anyone has class suggestions forthis i am open to those as well

Hp outpaces damage quickly as the levels get higher, so that is a difficult concept to pursue in this game.

With that said, I think your best bet is to go Sniper archetype Slayer. I'd talk to your DM about how, "after this first attack, the target is aware of the sniper's presence," works in play (do they know your exact location or are they just aware that they are now in combat?), but I think the slayer is much better than the rogue for a build like this.

Take accomplished sneak attack a couple times to catch up to the rogue in sneak attack dice. Studied target, vital strike, and deadly aim are all the ways to increase a single shot of damage. I'm torn on focused shot because it only works on a target within 30ft and then why bother with either sniper archetype or the deadly range stuff in the first place? It could be useful as another option though.

Ranged Feint is a new feat from Ultimate Intrigue. I'm not sure if it works with Improved Feint or not. I hope it does.

I'll second that you should probably go sniper slayer here. There just isn't much in the rogue's toolset that favors archery.

alrighty then, Sniper slayer after having looked at it works nicely. that and i really like Studied Target. Ranged feint looks really cool, i might play with that.

i was thinking taking extra studied target to take the ranger combat style at first level to get precise shot as quickly as possible. that should allow me to free up feats
