Hey there, folks!

So, there's no way I can ask this without making folks start to speculate and wonder... so speculate and wonder away.

What part of Golarion (preferably the Inner Sea region) would your 18th or higher-level character want to go explore and learn about? If you also have areas beyond Golarion (other planets or planes), feel free to list them too, but ONLY if you first list a place ON Golarion that you'd like to see more about!

Three locations you can't nominate:

  • Starstone Cathedral
  • Gallowspire
  • Pit of Gormuz

Because I already know folks are interested in those locations! :-P

Liberty's Edge

The Land of Black Blood, way down in Orv. Either that or the Sightless Sea.

Interesting. Since we've already set an adventure in the Land of Black Blood, is there a particular place IN that Vault you want to know more about and explore that didn't get touched upon in Pathfinder #18?

HA! That should have been #4 of the "don't bother mentioning since I know folks want it" above. Well played, toothy bag. Well played indeed! :-D

To be honest, I didn't know there already was one. So I guess my birthday came early this year. :)

Do I get a second pick? :) If yes, it's the Hollow Mountain on Golarion and Eox elsewhere.

My first thought was Land of the Linnorm Kings. Fighting some linnorms sounds fun.

Has undersea of the Eye of Abednego been explored?

The Mordant Spire.

Fighting Treerazer in Kyonin would be neat-o.

Alternately Eox or the Black Desert down in Orv.

Sorshen's tomb under Korvosa.

The Nameless Spires.

The Hungry Storm really only lets you explore the edge, and Legendary Games' supplement also doesn't really explore that location much. I think that is ripe for high level adventuring, because you'll want access to Teleport effects when you want to rest/resupply.

The houses of perfection in Jalmeray! Also, Jandelay. Because that Oliphaunt had to come from somewhere.

Ouuuuu! I like games...

-Xin-Eurythnia
-Cradle of Immortality
-Sightless Sea (Specifically [and shamelessly] something Munavri related)

Oooooh, I'd kill to get a good look into Vallenhall. Out of all the Inner Sea colonies in Arcadia, it's the one to really catch my attention, and seems like a good spot to wrap up an adventure that continues into Arcadia itself.

Dark Archive

Hermea. There's something going on on that island, and I don't trust it.

Also, Deep Tolguth because I like the hollow earth vibe.

I love this question, thank you!

I love high-level play in general.

I'd like to see content for defeating Razmir and providing redemption to the people of the theocracy of Razmiran.

Silver Mount (Numeria)
Red redoubt (Absalom/Kortos)
Dungeons of Adamas (andoran)
the Azlanti Ruins under the seven towers district of Opppara (taldor)

I'd like to see what in the "Eye of Abendego". I had a storm druid who wanted to claim it as his own.

My Paladin wants to cleanse the Pit, his elven mage cohort wants to return to Kyonin. Both are intrigued by the Starstone and Gallowspire.

1. Nemret Noktoria
2. The Crimson Citadel
3. Mzali
4. Refuge of Nex
5. Mechitar

I'll second the Kyonin and Treerazer suggestion as there is a paucity of Kyonin based material in the game!

Here are a few more suggestions.

How about a module dealing with the mad reincarnated druid of Nirmathas that wants to kill all the humans? How about an assault on an Aspis Consortium Conference Z base?

An Absalom based adventure dealing with a planar assault on the Starstone Cathedral would be fun. A mission to find the Deck of Many Things in Castle Everstand before the demonic hordes descend on it and turn it to rubble would be exciting.

How about a mythic module to confront the god heroes of Iblys? I'd like to see more Darklands material as well. What are the Neolithids up to in Orv?

Yjae. I would love to explore Yjae.

I'll second the Mordant Spire.

Definitely Eox for outside of Golarion. What are those crazy space liches up to??

  • Island of the Veil
  • Exploring the broken Azlant Islands
  • Galt
  • Dead Man's Dome

Though I look forward to Arcadia, I think an adventure in Galt would be interesting. More Rebel action! Long Live Anarchy (Or Order!)! XD

Where to go when high level ?

Hmm let me think about it :
    - Treerazer's lair in Kyonin
    - Hermea : let's see how PCs would behave when they realize what is exactly Mengkare perfect society and how to leave this place without harming innocent people who were told to chase them, and how to deal with a really powerful and smart dragon.
    - I second Eye of Adebango
    - Mechitar in Geb
    - Mordant Spire
    - Sovyrian

Those looking for high level adventure in the Silver Mount should look to AP #90.

    - My vote would be the broken Azlanti Islands. Bring in Mr. Hodge and let him work his magic on that Azlanti culture!

    Not exhaustive.

Whatever's at the heart of the Eye of Abendego
    Shadow Westcrown
    Sarusan

    And lastly, and most awesomely:

    Taru Seco.

For all we know there's still surviving Azlanti there.

We can adopt the approach used by the new Warcraft Expansion.

    1.Travel to new exotic lands.

    2. Meet another new variety of elves.

    3. Kill them.

    In no particular order:

    1. Some of Azlant. As we don't know much about it, it's hard to be more specific.
    2. Any of the named locations in Iobaria dealing with cyclopsean ruins.
    3. First Step in Razmiran.
    4. Hermea

That's just off the top of my head. As for outside of Golarion itself, Triaxus would be fun to hear about. It would have to be a planet who is significantly inclined to the rest of the solar system so it doesn't crash into everything else. Also, it would spend less time near the sun and more time away (cause.. gravity). That makes it a very interesting world.

Lantern Lodge RPG Superstar 2014 Top 4

There's a lot written about Triaxus in AP70, The Frozen Stars.

Personally, I've always had a liking for Iobaria.

Interesting responses so far! Keep em coming! A lot of locations I knew/hoped folks would be into, and several that I hadn't even considered!

AND: From the office of managing expectations!

Keep in mind that there's a LOT more ideas folks are suggesting here then we'll likely EVER get to explore in the Modules line, or the AP line for that matter. And the ones that get the most "votes" aren't likely to be the ones we pick up!

This is mostly just an information gathering stage for me to find out if there's a part of the world that I didn't know folks are starved for information about PLUS me wondering if there are areas I hadn't considered.

And by I... I mean the other T-Rex.

    THAT'S THE SCOOP!

Never claimed it was. But, if you're looking for high level adventure in the Silver Mount, you can look to AP #90. From pages 8-55, it's all adventure in Silver Mount.

    Dark Archive

I'd also like to throw out the Antakos Ocean or Sarusan.

    Hermea.

A really good planar adventure that feels like you're really in an alien place, not just in another dungeon with a few environmental conditions.

Some of th cyclops ruins in Iobaria.

I would love to see an epic journey into the Tanglebriar, locate Witchbole and challenge Treerazer.

Perhaps a 64pg deluxe adventure taking characters from level 18 to 20.

Maybe even uhhhh, wait for it..... A huge Treerazer miniature!

Opens wallet, throws $$$ at Paizo...

My characters would want to clear the stains of evil from the world that heroes of lower caliber would have no chance against.

    - Journey to the Isle of Terror, explore the Wizard-King Pit, undo the trap set by Tar-Baphon, and close off the portal to the Negative Energy Plane inside of the Well of Sorrows. I was disappointed City of Golden Death wasn't an epic adventure as plundering the treasure vault of the Inner Sea's most infamous necromancer should have been a high level adventure.

    - Adventure to Sevenarches and journey into the portals to find a cure for the plague that could wipe out the elven race

    - Nautical adventure through the Sightless Sea

    - Search through the heart of the Eye of Abendego

    - Explore Tangle Briar and face the Treerazer
