Tian Xia has been featured in several products already, namely Dragon Empires Gazetteer, Dragon Empires Primer, the last 3 books of the Jade Regent AP and Distant Shores.

There´s also related material in the Advanced Race Guide and other books.

While the Inner Sea surely has potential for interesting stories left, i feel it is time to visit more of Tian Xia. There are countless opportunities and stories to be told!
SO if you shar the same opinion and want more Tian Xia material - from Pathfinder Society scenarios over modules to a full out AP, but also more source material, campaign setting and player guides - express your wishes here and talk about it!
Also consider buying the above mentioned material and reviewing it.

If you are not interested, or hearsay stuff didn´t go well in the past, or prefer other material, that´s cool, but please talk about that somewhere else.

I second your intentions here, Hayato Ken. I would also like to see more adventures and material for Tian Xia. Is it possible that maybe a module or two could be made? Maybe inspired from the hooks in Distant Shores?

I am interested as well. Especially for more information and crunch about the races.

I'm all for it.

I will say as an additional selling point, it would be a great way of utilizing Occult Adventures, Ultimate Intrigue, and Horror Adventures stuff all into one adventure path without making it seem shoehorned. :-)

I vote for this!

(Also for psionics and Starfinder, but also for this!)

I would love a dedicated AP and intro module! So much to explore, so many interesting stories and ideas that could be explored.

Keep it coming! Don´t be afraid to go into more detail!
What´s your favorite parts of Tian Xia? Which country do you want to see?
Or what kind of classes and flavor? Or what races interest you most?

Apparantly, a thread with ~1000 posts about a subject made by 10-20 people is enough to consider a product. So let´s keep this thread alive and up and encourage as many people as possible to voice their Tian Xia wishes!

What are you, some kind of filthy weaawbeau? Everyone knows you can't have interesting adventures in an Asian themed locale, who could ever want that?

How about an adventure to stop the rising of some mighty Kaiju!

Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

I could see something involving a romance and conflict between Jinin and Kaoling. Elves and Hobgoblins!

Or the southern jungles, involving Dtang-Ma, Naga, Nagaji, but Wanshou and the kraken despots as well.

Liberty's Edge

I read that great reviews of existing products on that topic would immensely help its case too. Not to mention high sales of course

I can not remember the name of the place, but I would love to see the undead infested place developed more.

I'd buy that for a dollar...

Or more.

You have my vote.

I'd like to see an adventure with Kaoling. No AP has featured hobgoblins yet that I know of.

Nagajor would also be a good place to host an AP, nagas!

More Asia stuff sounds cool ;)

Shadow Lodge

I endorse Tian Xia.
There's so much that could be explored and I personally like fresh things once in a while.

Spoiler:
And add some tasty aztec-y things, too. :D

I'm all for it. No idea why the other stuff didn't set the world on fire, frankly, 'cause it was friggin' awesome.

Tian Xia's splintered empire leaves room for awesome war stories (assuming there's some fear of tearing up the map of the Inner Sea by redrawing borders, how about an attempt to reunite the old empire of Lung Wa? Sounds like AP fodder to me! Alternately you could have the PCs stand against an attempt to reunify the old empire, I guess...)

Or you could deal with the rise of an aggressive warlord in Hongal (maybe allied to Kaoling for fun and profit) in an effort to preserve the freedom of Tian Xia's regions.

Or a more quietly mystical story dealing with the Forest of Spirits and the strange beings that reside there.

Kaiju rule, and having an entire campaign (or at least a module) built around stopping one from devastating the PCs homelands could rock(basic structure: Kaiju attacks, destroys the town they're in at the opening. PCs barely survive, spend a bit of time rescuing survivors and trying to figure out just what the hell happened. Next: Go looking for ways to fight a kaiju. As an intermediate step, trick/coerce another kaiju into fending off the initial aggressor from another populated area, with some metric for how far away from the population center the fight occurs- the closer it is, the worse the collateral damage- culminating, eventually, in the PCs throwing down with the beast in an effort to put an end to its depredations for good)

I'd prefer something other than Minkai as a focus, in part because eastern Asia has so much more to offer than "not-Japan," but that place alone has plenty going on.

Tian Xia's got my vote. (Unless you wanna give me Arcadia or Vudra or Casmaron first, but that's another thread entirely!)

Mh Forest of Spirits and Kaijiu are very interesting as well.

The broken empire seems most promising to me though next to the Jinin/Kaoling line, because it offers so much on a very tightly packed scale.

If they did a Lung Wa storyline, would people prefer the PCs to be unifying the broken empire, preventing its unification, or something else entirely?

For example, perhaps the empire had sealed some great evil away, and with it gone, the evil is breaking free. The PCs must travel the empire's former provinces to find the tools to reseal - or destroy - the evil.

It could be a powerful underworld dragon; we haven't had a dragon as the true end boss of an AP before.

I adore Tian Xia and its mythology. I volunteer myself as tribute to write whatever Paizo wants on the subject.

My favorite places are:
Tianjing (Secret qlipploth incursion underneath a celestial nation? Potential to "stop another World Wound?" AWESOME)

Chu Ye (A look at what would happen to Minkai if the PCs failed Jade Regent? The ultimate nation in need of heroes? DOUBLE AWESOME)

Wanshou (KRAKEN LAND!)

The Forest of Spirits (Seriously, there is NO place like this in the Inner Sea. A land completely ruled by nature spirits where humans aren't a majority race? I find the notion to be super interesting.)

The Tengu nation (Hwanggot?)

Everywhere. Seriously, everywhere. I will do the thing, LET ME DO THE THING!!!

Please....

There is so much to explore there and a lot of interesting storyline potential.

I didn't put Kaiju on my list because I figured that they'd be a claimed topic for JJ.

But there's so much cool, untapped stuff in Tian Xia that I am content to dream....

On top of what Mr. Augunas said, I'd love to do more with Shenmen. ^_^

Another note: depending on the specific story, the port city of New Oppara makes a good starting point. It allows Paizo to be more conservative by providing an easy explanation for Inner Sea characters, while ensuring that the campaign actually starts in Tian Xia.

New Oppara would indeed be a good compromise for that.

I could totally see Alex Augunas involved there :D

And the underworld dragon endboss and seals storyline is also a pretty cool idea Kalindlara!
It´s true, TianXia is so different from the Inner Sea and provides so many very interesting possibilities, it´s nearly countless^^
There could probably be a whole second AP line in TianXia only...

Liberty's Edge

Lung Wa with all the political machinations and possibilities for epic wars would make for a great campaign. Adding into that some cool wuxia flavor and Im more than sold.

The one after Strange Aeons is going to focus on hobgoblins, as I recall.

It does, a least in the first books it seems, but it´s not in Tian Xia as far as i know. Strictly Inner Sea (again) untill it goes off to the elemental planes. Elemental planes is cool already though i think.

Kaoling would of course be cooler ;)

Wuxia flavor should be all over Tian Xia. There could actually be a book similar to the Inner Sea fighting schools book for Tian Xia!

As someone running an ongoing campaign in Tian Xia set during the fall of Lung Wa, I'm on board with this sentiment :)

Isabelle mentioned a desire to see more Shenmen, which there will be some material for in Horror Realms (James confirmed it in the product thread, and I did the write-up). So that should be something Tian Xia related coming on the relatively 'soon' train.

I admit that I've got a lot of headcanon for some of the regions in Tian Xia. I've done a lot of home game material for Dtang Ma, including a variety of stuff on the spirits they worshiped in their older days, and some thoughts on how the Cinnamon Throne changes hands and what previous bloodlines existed. All 100% non-official stuff, but that's just because I've loved what has already been seeded in the regions.

Fun Fact

Darklands Revisited Spoiler:
The example neothelid in Darklands Revisited touches on Dtang Ma and is impersonating one of the spirits for the region.

Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

Oh that sounds awesome!
My latest character is actually a maestro bloodline sorcerer from Dtang-Ma!

more Dragon Empires? Yeah. I want that

Sure I would love to get into or even run a Tian Xia AP! I truly found the final three books in Jade Regent to be a delight! If they can simulate the lush sprawling adventure and romance of a movie like Crouching Tiger I would be all the more thrilled!

On top of that I have a deep love of Dragons and the Asian inspired ones are fascinating and would be a joy to explore. Also Kaiju!!! Who doesn't love those guys???

Yes please!! Also, more interesting adventures in Lung Wa and Nagajor!

I would really like to see more Asian themed stuff as well. There is a to explore in their myths and i have no doubt some good aps and settings can be made for it.

+1 for more Dragon Empires.

A book about the gods of the dragon empires would be super userful as well, because I want to know what is up with Daikitsu. She is like, the metaphorical (or maybe real) mother of the kitsune but follows none of their themes and acts nothing like them.

Any Tian Xia books would be nice really.

I like political/war stories where the majority of the fantastic elements are set dressing but not inherently integral(which is part of why I loved Rise of the Runelords and Curse of the Crimson throne- yes, magic and fantastic elements were pivotal factors, but they weren't really the engine driving the story.)

To that end, I'd like the PCs to be working toward reunifying Lung Wa- for several reasons:

1. Romance of the Three Kingdoms-esque balancing, treachery, and double-dealing galore.

2. Fighting against unity is a bit too much "preserving the status quo." Given my druthers, I like allowing the PCs to make a major difference in a lasting sense. Also, I'd like to see the PCs playing as Ying Zheng, rather than Jing Ke, for purely stylistic reasons.

3. Taking other nations and conquering them "for the greater good" opens a whole nasty can of worms for moral ambiguity, which we spend too much time running away from in most published material. However, moral ambiguity also allows for acts of mercy and compassion to the defeated, and for respecting honorable enemies- where Hell's Vengeance has you pretty much stomping all over the Glorious Reclamation and laughing about it, the Reunification of Lung Wa could have you slay an enemy general- and then providing for his family, and sending his effects home with accounts of his skill and bravery. It would be something relatively new in Pathfinder.

4. It runs counter to the individualistic aspects of our own English-using culture, and would help to put the players in a different mindset from the outset.

5. It would allow you to rebuild Lung Wa as a better and more just state than it was in the past, assuming your players chose to go that route.

Of course, you could tie all of this into some mystic vision-"You need to get everybody together because bad times are coming and the united empire's strength will be needed" in order to make it plain that your PCs are, in fact, the heroes, not the villains of the story.

Note that unification does not always have to be by the sword. The release of Ultimate Intrigue is the perfect excuse for an AP where courtly intrigue and diplomacy are as important (or more) as military might. ^_^

Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

That´s a very good thought! I can really see how this could work, especially with Ultimate Intrigue. Still wouldn´t be a pacifist game suddenly, but it might actually be a good move to pull UI a bit away from the avengers/DC/Marvel image.
And i think that would also be real fun.

I hope not, I play for escapism, human politics is the opposite of escapism for me. I would much prefer it focused on adventures, interesting and exotic locals, strange creatures, weird or unusual customs, etc. then courtly politics.

While we're at it, if a Tian-Xia AP was upcoming, it would be the perfect excuse to release an Expanded(*) Unchained Monk Player Companion.

This MUST include a Sumo Wrestler archetype.

Lantern Lodge

Hmm... while I am interested in the new AP titles projected to come out, I do agree that there is a sizeable amount of space for another eastern-themed story. For the amount of dedication and effort put into fleshing the Tian Xia area and the amount of eastern-inspired content that was released around 2011-2012 (spanning the better part of a rulebook and bestiary even), it petered off rather quickly from the public eye as season 4 of PFS rounded out. The fact of the matter is that there was so much groundwork laid out for it, it felt like it was meant to have a much greater impact on the world of Golarion than it ended up with. Which I can understand, living in a western world and growing up with Tolkien, but I wonder if the development team was left unsatisfied and wanting more.

Furthermore, given that the book Ultimate Combat was so varied in the content that it wanted to touch on, it may be prudent to expound upon the eastern content therein and receive its own hardcover rulebook to join the ranks of Paizo's elite. If another Tian Xia campaign were announced, this would be an excellent incentive to consolidate the existing stuff and create more variant play to fit the setting and the intrigue waiting in Golarion's far east. Though I haven't experienced Jade Regent directly, I imagine it was conceived early on and didn't get the benefit of many of the elements that came out afterward. It also serves as a good jumping-off point to create events that tie back to the Inner Sea, the now defunct Lantern Lodge, and the myriad races that exist in both parts of the world. Overall, there is endless potential to explore, and plenty of chances to create and revitalize new and old world building. Those're my two bits on the matter.

You mean more awesome stuff like in the weapon masters handbook, only more specifically for monks and unarmed and unarmored combat, but still incorporating especially eastern weapons? Yes!

That could also be part of a larger Eastern Fighting Techniques book^^

A Tian Xia magic book and a Tian Xia kineticist book would also be really, really good.

Besides more adventures in Tian Xia of course.

I am interested in a Tian Xia campaign but at least for now would prefer it focus on only a couple of nations. The more you travel, the more spread out and thin the relevant background material is for a region. I would rather explore one or two areas and get a lot of info and depth for a region (and also actually allow PCs to have some sort of homebase and develop attachments to NPCs and such)

On a related note, A Lung Wa unification AP just doesn't seem that uh...tenable. There are far too many countries to adequately cover in one AP.

also as a horror fan, a Tian Xia horror-themed campaign would be pretty awesome. It's not like the Paizo folks don't have a lot of inspirations to pull from, and it would be a pretty novel idea.
