Krila casts Restoration on Justified.

There you go

"There, that should help with the muscle fatigue."

Graythan gives Jusified a critical eye, nodding as he sees the color return to the man's face. When Krila's magics then steal away the shakiness in her patient's stance, he offers, "Nicely done,"
then turns to Justified and asks, "You fit to press on, Justified?"

You can pretty much always take 10

Moira's investigation of the door doesn't reveal any traps, but a closer looks finds that the high humidity and years of neglect have resulted in the great stone having become stuck in the accumulated mold and muck.

It is a DC28 Strength check to force them open. Up to four people can work together to force them open (so 3 assists). If you cant force them, you are able to smash them open to get through, though that is a touch less subtle.

Right. My thoughts too. Can we clean them up a little to make it easier?

Justified gets out a crowbar and gives the door a try. This thing is stuck stuck.
Strength Check with crowbar: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 2 = 13

Take 20 gives him a 27 with the crowbar. If someone can assist...

@Krilla: Let's say yes, if only to lower the DC enough to allow Justified to open it with the crowbar.

Magical water scrubs away the filth of generations and with a grinding groan of protest, the door opens enough to allow you to pass through. Beyond the door, is a mostly empty room with a few crumbled stones and fragments of what might have once been a table. The southwest corner of the room has crumbled away to reveal a stagnant pool of water, its surface calm, dark, and mysterious.

Another set of doors, sits in the eastern wall.

Graythan watches Krila's coin arc through the air in silence, and though the pool obviously unnerves Moira, the former bounty hunter's gaze quickly turns from the coin and the pool to the corners of the room and toward the ceiling.

Split (Ex) Slashing and piercing weapons deal no damage to a black pudding. Instead, the creature splits into two identical puddings, each with half of the original's current hit points (round down). A pudding with 10 hit points or less cannot be further split and dies if reduced to 0 hit points.

Suction (Ex) The black pudding can create powerful suction against any surface as it climbs, allowing it to cling to inverted surfaces with ease. A black pudding can establish or release suction as a swift action, and as long as it is using suction, it moves at half speed. Because of the suction, a black pudding's CMD score gets a +10 circumstance bonus to resist bull rush, awesome blows, and other attacks and effects that attempt to physically move it from its location.

I'm looking, but there's a limit to what I can do and still move. If I don't take a move action to direct the ball lightning, it's worthless spell, and it's the one most likely to kill them

Krila walks back as fast as she can, then moves the ball lightning over the second creature, and brings it down on the first creature, in such a position that if the second creature tries to exit the room it will hit the balls as well.

SHould get two hits on #1, and at least 1 hit on #2, or at least slow it down so it can't charge.

Ball 1, 1: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 4) = 11
Ball 2, 1: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2) = 8

I didn't do that, and I didn't say I did. I said I moved it up and over the inner most one (so it did not come into contact with him) then moved it down into the spaces of the one in the lead. What I said was that by doing so, the one behind it had to go through the balls to move forward. The spell does allow other things to be damaged if they move into the balls.

Special Attacks constrict (2d6+4 plus 2d6 acid), corrosion

Acid (Ex) A black pudding secretes a digestive acid that dissolves organic material and metal quickly, but does not affect stone. Each time a creature suffers damage from a black pudding's acid, its clothing and armor take the same amount of damage from the acid. A DC 21 Reflex save prevents damage to clothing and armor. A metal or wooden weapon that strikes a black pudding takes 2d6 acid damage unless the weapon's wielder succeeds on a DC 21 Reflex save. If a black pudding remains in contact with a wooden or metal object for 1 full round, it inflicts 21 points of acid damage (no save) to the object. The save DCs are Constitution-based.

Corrosion (Ex) An opponent that is being constricted by a black pudding suffers a –4 penalty on Reflex saves made to resist acid damage applying to clothing and armor.

Not sure its smart enough to retreat. Everyone fall back to this side of the bridge and ready an attack. The fighter double moves back this round.

While Moira moves back, "I bet they are all sticky and such and underneath the bridge. I wish I had a dragon as a mount....fly away and breathe fire on these blobs."

Assuming Graythan falls back with the rest of you

There is still no sign of the oozes.

You are all up again. If you are just going to fall back to a particular place or until a specific situation occurs, let me know and maybe we can jump a couple of turns forward.

Once back to the entrance to the chamber with the bridges, Krila begins moving the balls of lightning over the edge of the bridge, and sends them sweeping along the bottom of the bridge to clear the things from it if they are hiding there.

Krila, should I try to draw the things out so your spell can attack them? Or are we better off waiting here? Perhaps it/they have fled.

"I doubt the blobs have fled. Have you seen us? We look soooo tasty."

retired

"May be we can see them from that other span." Graythan thrusts his chin toward the other bridge and makes his way toward it.

Double move onto the other bridge - is there enough distance or arc to see the oozes on the underside from here by any chance?
