Morning hive mind,
Question for y'all - how do eidolons interact with diseases if, for example, the eidolon has eaten something diseased and failed the initial Fort save. Does dismissal and re-summoning clear it up, or does it remain under the effect of the disease?
I guess a similar question applies for poisons.
Please note that I'm looking at a Chained Eidolon here, in case there is a specified difference between Chained and Unchained.

Ehm... I think I remember reading Eidolon are only aspects of the actual thing. a shade. Like most summon things. They feel pain etc.
but the summoned self isn't physically related to their actual body I thought. Taking a comicbook explaination..
breaking a green latnern's constructs mentally fatigues them but doesn't cause slices and cuts to them physically.
I haven't read unchained summoner. but I assume that is pretty similiar.

I wondered if there might be something like that too, but nowhere in the description for an eidolon, or any type descriptors for it did there seem to be any immunity to these things.
It has come up before with a Goblin Dog, but given that only lasts for 24 hours anyway (and someone healed it during the duration anyway), it wasn't a major issue.

If I remember right in the general conjuration school there was some mention of how summon stuff are.. (though not covering that topic in specific) about how none of them are their real bodies being called. and eidolon doesn't change that..
so normally figure it wouldn't.. although i guess eidolons also don't heal..
So i guess no direct listings
I'd go with no..
