Have you run or played Tomb of the Iron Medusa? Who should run it?

GM Discussion

My wife and I are both PFS GMs and players. I love playing modules that are full of tricky puzzles (love Library of the Lion) while the wife is less thrilled. However, I'm a more experienced GM (by decades) and it is a high level module; higher than she's ever played.

Before one of us starts prepping it, is it easy enough for a relative novice to run? Is it not really full of puzzles and should have a more experienced hand behind the GM screen?

1/5

I would suggest that you run it. Even if the module is very straightforward, the high level enemies will be tricky to properly run.

Silver Crusade 3/5

I ran this a couple of months back.

There aren't any actual puzzles to solve, at least not really the kind where the players really have to think, like solve a code or something. There are mostly just various high-level enemies and figuring out in which order to go to places. It is pretty standard dungeon romp, with the kind enemies you'd expect to survive in a place abandoned for hundreds of years.

Thanks Nohwear and Leathert for you views. I'll start prepping this for the group.
