Help me break my mythic / gestalt bard.

In my game, I'm required to take at least 10 levels as bard, which isn't bad since we've got gestalt (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/gestaltCharacters.htm)
I'm also taking the arrowsong minstrel archetype for bard as well.

We are starting at level 6 (with appropriate gold) and have tier 2 mythic.

I'm also starting off with a +5 CHA stat book (has to do with the reason for the bard *previous campaign nostalgia*), and have rolled stats with GM of 18, 18, 16, 16, 16, 17.

I was considering going fighter/bard with these feats (rapid shot (mythic feat as well), manyshot (mythic path for feat as well), point-blank, wep focus feats, Imp. init., and hammer the gap)

And then next level grabbing arcane archer in place of fighter.

Other things to note:
My GM won't let me have more Caster levels than levels in bard + arcane archer.

Is this a good idea? Any builds that you might think is better?


First off, this is not a suggestion on how to break your character, as a mythic gestalt with those stats will do amazing things regardless.

Rather then Arrowsong, the Bard that will make you the best at ranged combat is Arcane Duelist. You only really lose out on your skills being a little worse, which is not too bad, given how many bonus feats you get.

If I was doing this character, my class choice would be

The Bard side makes for a good archer, that almost can keep up the the best archer in the game (zen archer).
Mythic guys that hit you with their fists will kill you in 1 hit, so it's important to get your damage up as well (gs giving you dex to damage before you start)
The Slayer levels start out just as a way to pile on even more attack bonuses and damage, but at level 7, make sure you take Blood Reader. Being able to know how many HP a mythic bad guy has left will be the difference in many a game between living or dying.

For your mythic path, I would go with Champion.
Either Distant Barrage, or Sudden Charge will be good, and the mythic abilities to pick up would be 'always a chance', or nat 1's can still hit, and extra mythic feat.
