Scarab Sages

Spoiler:

So there's a decent chance that my party is going to allow Karzoug to escape his sanctum. Has anybody ever bothered to stat out Mhar Masif?

Scarab Sages

Nope, but C'thullu and Hastur have statblocks:

Ftaghn
Hastur, hastur, hastur

You could adapt those? But they are CR29 and 30 respectively.

Karzoug is CR21, so you might want something equal to that to give them a fighting chance?
You can brows the beasiary by CR, find something you like and adapt it the way you want: Index by CR

I would suggest a rematch with adimarchius, just reflavor it some.

I'd suggest CR 26+ and look at the kaiju rules for super-massive creatures.

(So perhaps start with one of the kaijus and then transplant Great Old One powers to it.)

This is supposed to be such a massive disaster that K may actually team up with the PCs to fight Big M, after all.

(Irrisen would probably get involved too, since Big M is basically Irrisen's southern border.)

The kaiju rules would absolutely be useful in statting up Mhar. If I were satting him up, I'd put him at CR 27.

I'm guessing you're focusing more on Mythos/Chaosium content for Strange Aeons, which means no Mhar. A little sad, but when you only have six slots, someone has to be left out.

I absolutely prefer to focus on the established monsters for those six slots, rather than doing up stats for some new one who just got made up. That said, one of the six slots WILL be for a brand new Great Old One. It's not gonna be Mhar though.

Given the deity articles, I'm guessing Xhamen-Dor? ^_^

Correct.

Cool! One more reason to continue with the AP subscription (as if I needed another one...).
