Do we have an estimated repair time? I have a scenario to run tonight, and I haven't been able to download since yesterday evening.

Yes. Something got broken on the website and we're pretty sure what broke it but are at a loss how to fix it right now. Basically this happened after much of the staff left and is redirecting a bunch of links to the front page. It's likely related to a bad configuration but the person most likely to understand what just happened was sick today. And everyone else was gone for the day except for Chris and myself and I'm afraid this is beyond the powers of either of us to figure out without making things worse. Sorry about the issue. I don't expect that it will be a great big problem but we may have to rebuild some links and some things that link to or depend on those links. We'll see.

Looks like Pacific-time-zone office hours today, at the earliest.

The Usual Suspect wrote:
If we don't, is there a work-around for people needing downloads for events?

There is a download link on each product page. If you can get to the product page for your scenario through the store, people have reported being able to download from there. (Some say they've gotten tossed back to the front page on clicking the link, but when they've returned to the product page, the download has been available.)

im a tad concerned since i just bought into the humble bundle but due to site trouble i can not redeem the codes given . what happens when the time runs out and the site is still down? will i be sol ?

I don't believe the time runs out on those.

Besides, it should get fixed today. :-)

So, no worries, have some s'mores and sing a campfire song. :-)

SMORES!!!!! WHERE!!!!

As long as you have the codes, you're good. The countdown is for purchasing the Humble Bundle, not redeeming it.

I think that the root of the problem is the "Deity Shipping Thread".

Seriously -- did the folks at Paizo really think they could get away with selling deities, packing them up into boxes, and sending them to us? Fortunately, the Golarion deities seem to have a sense of humor, or the site would be in even worse shape. ;)

Nope still blaming Capt. Yesterday might even have to court-martial him, he keeps leaving sick bay an touching things.

Maybe I keep leaving sick bay because I was never actually sick.

Here is a workaround that worked for me for getting items from Your Downloads.

Go to the product page of the item you previously ordered.

In the middle of the screen is information about your purchase (like the date ordered) In there is a "Click here to see download you have for your product" Click on that. It will bring up the download link for that product. That link should work and download that product for you.

I tried it three times - twice for two items I ordered today and it worked both times. And once to see if I can access older stuff in My Downloads so I picked a product I ordered three years ago. That worked as well.

What am I supposed to do at work without access to all the Pathfinder Forums???!! WORK?! Not on your life!

Dark Archive

What happened to the message boards page? I am unable to get to the main message board pages. Only way I can access any threads is through Paizo's home page.

Hey now, I'm the real victim here. I can't create new aliases.

O.O

Stay with us, Cap'n!

*breaks out the defibrillator*

I hadn't realized the seriousness of the situatio! If we have someone here who can perform a transplant, I'll gladly donate some of my aliases to the Captain!

I'm pretty sure I have enough to get me through. :-)

Thanks though.

You can also use links to posts from your account; favorites, favorited, posts, threads, and campaigns.

Looks like the account will have to be the forum hub for a while...

Just don't use Kobold Cleaver's, who knows where he's been.

I am similarly distressed, i keep flicking from the paizo front page to tor.com and back and nothing is updating and its a nightmare

I don't really want to read about "Misery acquainting an elf with strange bedfellows" right now paizo.com... Can I please see the message boards instead? No? Ok.

You really should reconsider using a defibrulator on Cap. I hear he has Vulnerability to Electricity.

So since we are all stuck here for the time being who wants to argue about Falling Paladins, Caster/Martial Disparity, or Alignment?

*evil laugh*

Grappling a succubus works for me.

I'd love for a succubus to open up my jar and grapple me.

Well clearly falling paladins leads to martial caster disparity, paladins fall so often that they only work they can get is hiring out as warriors and everyone conflates them as just really bad fighters.

I have a feeling it is a casualty of the Humble Bundle promotion. It seems to happen every time one happens. I bought the Qadira Campaign Guide and can't get to the download page. It just keeps defaulting to the starting website page.

If you go directly to the product page you can download it from there. When you click the download tab and login it might shift you to another page but if you go immediately back to the product page you can download it.

At somepoint someone will actually read the thead instead of just commenting and notice we have quoted your method at least 3 times now lol.

I could always access them, it's creating new aliases that I can't do.

Naturally, I've thought of at least three separate aliases I can't create.

Does anyone else think maybe this is there way of punishing us for the "jump a 10ft pit" thread coming back?

Wouldn't blame em.

Only reason that thread came back was that people wanted to gawk at the bizarre pedantry it featured, right?

No we have had a major rehashing of the base arguement including if you measure a jump toe to toe or toe to heel, as well as now side arguements based on what does and does not constitue total/maximum speed for the round and how far one can thusly jump.

Yeah, it was entirely Sharoth's fault! Let's get him!

Static wouldn't do that, he's one of the good guys.
