My local club had 4 sessions and the usual titles were "Pathfinder society, levels 1-2/1-5/3-5". But coming up this weekend i signed up for one and checking it again i see that it includes a specific faction
"Pathfinder RPG, Pathfinder Society, character levels 1-5, Scarab Sages and The Exchange"
Does this mean if i'm not in one of those two groups i shouldn't go or does it simply mean the story is more for them then me?

A scenario that lists one or more factions like that is merely indicating that characters of those particular factions will have minor additional story elements, related to the ongoing plot line for that faction. Each faction receives a relatively equal number of these across the seasons where this occurs, so that everyone has such opportunities.
EDIT: Had my work technical jargon voice still on. Simpler version: You are not required to be one of those factions, but you may get a little extra story (and possibly a minor boon) if you are.

Since i have all of your attention I have a Human Barbarian belonging to the skull tribe of the Shoanti people. I can't seem to place him in a guild that makes sense to me. His story being he is on a pilgrimage from his totem spirit to gain strength from slaying other lands monsters and foes in order to be better at protecting his own tribe's land. Thanks ahead

Silver Crusade. While he intends to return and protect his own lands one day, in the mean time he wants his fellow pathfinders to better protect the lands they pass through.
