That made me sad, actually. XD I thought they had a really good opportunity for him to show some self-reflection (especially after the end of the previous season) and really grow as a person. Instead, it was a bit more "welp, he's evil now because of the magic energy".

Yeah his actions have that Sure they look good but are really very self-serving below the surface.

....And I think that makes it a great opportunity to show real character development. XD I'm always sad when it's just "they're evil, let's get rid of them now". I hope for a bit more.

You need to read squirrel girl comics I think. That's like what she does she doesn't just beat up the villains she also converts them over to her side!

Well Season 7 was pretty awesome.

One hell of a final episode too. I'm like YEAH good guys win take that....oh crap The Witch

and then the Atlas does the Thing

and the final twist.

bring on season 8.......how ever long that's gonna be.

I'm not done yet, but I've been enjoying this season so far. I probably could have finished last night, but I'm old and tend to fall asleep on the sofa.

The only thing that bugs me about this season is....

Yeah I don't think he will ever make it back into You know what. Might have to accept that.

He got his own robot now. And it's even bigger. Take that, Voltron. Neener, neener, neener!

And now I have to wonder if.....

That robot, and it's power source, came from the alternate reality they visited once. The one where the Alteans had beaten the Galra and went on to conquer the universe.

The power source is the old Castle of Lions, that got compressed into the infinite mass crystal when they fought Lothor at the end of season 6. It is pretty much Castle of Lions 2.0

Definitely felt epic this season. I felt like there were some serious Deus Ex Machina moments in the last couple of episodes, but I was mostly having too much fun to care.
