Adventures Path Items within Society

So there is a weapon I would love to have for my Mesmerist. It's the Sadist's Lash. Now I see that it is in Rise of the Runelord anniversary adventure path. Now if I own it can I use that item or do I have to actually get the chronicle sheet with it? And this also goes for any item from an adventure path?

It is legal for purchase without a chronicle sheet. Check additional resources for which items are legal for play. Anything listed is legal without the use of a chronicle sheet. Often items which wouldn't normally be legal are made legal on adventure path chronicles.

Thats what I thought. But I wasn't sure if this was any different for Adventure Path's. I will need to get the book with that in it. Thanks.

The only other thing to keep in mind is that your character needs to meet the fame requirement to purchase it. Since it costs just over 22k, you need a minimum fame of 36 to purchase without it being on a chronicle sheet. Other than that, you're good as long as it's legal in additional resources.

You also need to have the resource available if requested by your DM, so you either need to bring the book with you or print off the page from a watermarked PDF.
