Where to put a werewolf count, in a castle, outside of Sandpoint?

Looking at Pathfinder Wiki's page on Sandpoint might help you develop some ideas. I notice that there are some moors detailed in the Sandpoint Locations page, and a lonely moor seems like a good place for some howling and haunting (kind of Hound of the Baskervilles except maybe one of the lords or ladies of the house is the hound?). There are also various tors which might host a hilltop fortress.

Put the castle in Ashen Rise, on the side closer to Egan's Wood.

Players could first be called to investigate an incident at Habe's Sanatorium to investigate an insensible man that was captured nearby, looking like he had been mauled. Their investigation can lead them to search for Egan's fabled shack in the middle of Egan's Wood. Have some forest encounters followed by the discovery of the shack where the players learn what became of Egan, tying it into the werewolf count's backstory. Then they can discover a mountain trail leading to the castle proper.

Boom, reasonably integrated werewolf story arc in Sandpoint.

Alternatively, you could put it in the Devil's Platter region, and replace Egan's Wood with Biston's Pond.
