Are Inquisitions like Archetypes?

Can an Inquisitor take two Inquisitions like other classes can take 2 archetypes?

An inquisition is effectively a domain. You may take as many inquisitions as you are legally allowed domains.

Pretty much that really. And Inquisitors generally only get one domain so they can generally only have one inquisition instead.

Other classes, theoretically, don't have a maximum number of archetypes they can take.
There is no rule of two.
The only rule is, that each class feature can only be modified or traded once.

That last rule however serves as an effective cap on how many archetypes one can take, even if that cap isn't going to be numerically the same for every class.

Generally however, the fewer tradeable class features you have, the lower the effective limit. Or like with Rouges and Bards,where practically every archetype takes out the exact same class feature.

Or investigators. I'm not sure they have a single stackable archetype.

Or Mediums. Every Medium archetype from Paizo alters the Spirit class feature. I had to search through a fair amount of third party material before I found a Medium archetype that was actually compatible with two other Medium archetypes.

I know fighters can have up to 3 at a time. I'm not sure if there is any higher combo.

There was a thread a while ago, I think Magus can have 5 at once. Monk can stack quite a few as well.
