Alchemist Grenadier archetype: racial archetype or no?

Rules Questions

So, the group I'm with is looking into playing Pathfinder again, and I am VERY interested in playing an alchemist. Specifically, the Grenadier archetype for it. However, our DM is not a fan of allowing monstrous creatures such as Dhampir and Hobgoblins into his game, and if I am reading my Advanced Race Guide properly I would need to be a Hobgoblin alchemist to take the archetype.

Am I reading this right? I've seen builds online for other races, but our group likes to do things as "RAW" as possible, and I'd like an official answer one way or another.

Silver Crusade

It was originally listed in a different book, and it was reprinted in ARG, so I'd say it's non racial myself. And as far as that goes, I'm going to state for the record that void bomb should be considered non racial as well.

Sovereign Court

The Alchemist Grenadier archetype was printed (at least) twice. Once in Monster Codex page 116 and once in Pathfinder Society Field Guide page 30. The second had no mention of monstrous races.

I think it was racial. but has since been reprinted as non racial like N. Jolly said.
That is one of the reasons its listed twice on d20

Sovereign Court

The original source is Pathfinder Society Field Guide, and that's not race-related. And it's a legal source for PFS. It's actually quite tailored to the PFS game, what with swapping out poisons for precise bombs ("no PVP") and such.

The newer source is Monster Codex and is racial-bound. And not a PFS-legal source.
