How does spell trigger and spell completion magic item use interact with Greater Detect Magic? If someone casts a spell from a scroll or a wand, is the magical signature that comes into play that of the item's user or its maker? (I would assume the item's maker, but official word would be nice.) Does using a scroll or wand affect the user's detectable last spell cast?

There's no direct rules support, as this is a new and not very fleshed out concept from Ultimate Intrigue. I hit the FAQ, recommend you do so as well so we might get an answer some day. Until thenI'd say:

1. The signature is that of the wand creator.

2. The last detectable spell would be from the spell completion item.

I picked these because I think they lead to the best stories and a good mix of strategies. (Wand registration in your town? Do you use it and dump it so you don't have the identifiable murder weapon? Cast a scroll, then cast a cantrip to "clean off" your signature?)
