I have to point out that Khanjira is actually 6x6 sized (exactly the right size for the tarrasque). Specifically, I had to fit him on a 6x6 square because his base is too large for a 6 inch circle.

I understand for some Khanjira works but for me a Tarrasque should be something awe inspiring. 2nd edition had them at 50'long and 3.5 had them at 70' long, 50' tall and weight in at 130 tons.
The Khanjira mini just does not cut it for me in the awe inspiring department no matter how nice a paint job or what base it sits on.
I do not even have a Tarrasque in my personal game world yet but I think the Behemoth mini is such a great deal and truly awe inspiring I am pledging for it.
check out the below to see how it measures up.

Just saw and backed a great Kick Starter for those who love super large miniatures. They call it
the Behemoth and it is very Tarrasque like in shape and size.I hope it looks as good as the digital sculpt shown. :-)
At that point we need to use a different word than "minature".

Looks like the project is getting stuck at ~29k again. Does Gifted Vision not promote this enough? I'd think they would try to reach a little further out, if they are running this through kickstarter a second time. But right now it has the exact same number of backers and almost the same amount raised as it did when the first KS ran out. And if I recall correctly the current KS reached these numbers fairly early on.
I can hardly believe there are only 231 people with the will and the means to back a project like this.

You should see some of the things Games Workshop's branch company forge world has put out. Compared to that warlord titan the behemoth is still decently mini. Actually at its 6-7 inch height i think it is rivalled by a lot of warhammer miniatures by now.

I think the project is quite a ways ahead of where it was last time. From what I recall it was at $17,000, and then with 5 days left I approached ENWorld and they were kind enough to do a post about the campaign. In the last 5 days it soared up to $29,000. That was an increase of $12,000 in 5 days which would make this campaign succeed if it occurred again.
I have approached several news sites and game publishers, however they all have a strict criteria for what they expect out of Kickstarter hosts before they will throw their support in. (They don't want put their support behind a project that appears destined to fail, and they also don't want to be relied upon as the primary method for promoting the product). Based on input I have received from these news sites and publishers, they are not impressed with the lack of promotion this Kickstarter host has done.
I remain hopeful that this project will succeed but for many reasons I wish not to delve into, I suspect that it won't. There's more than enough time to make it happen though, and hopefully the fans of this project can help promote this mini and give it the extra boost in promotion that it both requires and deserves!

Yes and on this run, basically all the previous backers flooded back in early on, to renew their pledge and since then it has died down to kind of linger around the numbers it had at the end last time.

Wish I could afford this right now. LOVE the Kraken, so much more than the Reaper one (ALMOST finished painting... But the 'whole body' thing is only useful UNDERWATER... I love the 'peaking up from the surface better), Khanjira? Bigger is of course better... but I'm pretty sure even he will never actually see play... so $65 right after the brake job crippled me is out of reach. :-/
What is the deal on the website with all the previous stuff in the store... that says 'Need X Tokens to purchase'?? Are they not actually available to buy now? Is that a term for some game? I always love more villagers, and seriously scoping out that better Kraken, but if I'm not eligible to buy for some reason, I'll stop torturing myself ;)

I don't think "alas" means what you think it means.
Given that I only have a few mere seconds to peruse the forums and make the occasional post, I rarely have time to proof read my posts. The important thing is, is that I think most people read that as it was intended: "at long last".
