Hi Everyone! This Game has lost its GM - no word or clue for over a week and the person has disappeared from Paizo altogether during that time. Hopefully all is fine, but we need a replacement GM for literally one week to finish the final encounter and wrap things up. Thanks!!!

That lasted a full post - turned out the GM had some connection problems, and is safe and sound - good news! I got to toss a baddie through a window, so that was worth it...

Howdy folks! It's a bit late (literally for me, since it's currently 02:21 AM here) but in case anyone was waiting for an official go-ahead to start Early GM Sign-Ups(!!) then wait no more! Early GM Sign-Ups for PbP Gameday IX are now open! :D
Remember: This is limited to one RPG table (which can be a regular game or a seat at one of the Specials) and one ACG table and to convention GMs only. General sign-ups for the greater online public will open August 12th. Tell your friends!
Looks like PF2 exploded. Good for Paizo.

Yes indeed! I should have made sure to clarify this with my earlier post(s) - apologies!
Also, if you are GMing a game and don't have a Recruitment link of some sort up for your game (link to something on Paizo, link to your own spreadsheet, etc.), you need to add one to the Event Listing spreadsheet as soon as you're able.

How many games can I sign up for?
No set limit but please only sign up for the number of games you can handle. It’s better to enjoy one or two games than to get overwhelmed. Also, please remember other people also are excited to play, so please don't sign up for a whole lot of games right away.

Season 3 has brought with it a bunch of 'arcs' for players to run through.
I currently have three tables running through content and so we are looking for more to jump in to the Frozen Ambitions arc (levels 1-4).
My intent is to run each of the scenarios in the arc (I'm guessing 6, but that is based on pure speculation) so this represents an opportunity to get into a S3 mini-campaign and play one of these storylines.
The scenario drop timetable is a bit funky, so there is a 'gap' I'll aim to fill it with an alternative 1-4 (latest drop or a repeatable)

I know this COVID situation has certainly taken it's toll, especially with so many games being ran online as of late. While we have seen a lot of good come from it for the online community we are also seeing a little bit of the secondary effects .
Let's help out a fellow GM Folks. Sign up for some games and let's help at least one of these tables go off. Both are great scenarios with a wonderful GM. :)
The problem with season 1 is that most Starfinders have played almost all of it. And the Heralds War requires level 9-12 which very few starfinders have, so unless they have the SS-JA faction, those tables might be hard to fill. If those were both repeatables or even season 2 and beyond, phaeton_nz would have both tables full already.
The Covid piece kinda scotched my GD plans too - I was keen to GM the multi and do cool stuff, but work had me down as being away for two weeks and with an unknown tempo and an unknown data/signal capability I had to steer away. Well that just got cancelled. I feel robbed :p
What's with such a high percentage of Starfinder being hosted on other forums and platforms though? PF1 & PF2 are firmly here, yet the SFS is pretty much off elsewhere.
PF1 21/24, 85% of tables on Paizo forums.
PFS2 48/69, 70% of tables on Paizo forums.
SFS 13/29, 45% on Paizo forums.

I've been wondering about the discord servers. Is there a reason people choose these over paizo boards? Any distinct advantages? I've always found the Paizo boards to be very well set up:
- character aliases with pictures (though admittedly choice is a bit more limited for starfinder), which I feel works great for immersion- direct access to stats (character straplines and links to character sheets)
- direct linking to maps/handouts
I suppose discord has a bit more formatting flexibility. Any other advantages?
