Tank life oracle

Advice

So i was theory crafting the oracle im going to play for an undead pathfinder campaign and was wondering if any one thought this was viable
going life mystery oracle and maxing con/dex and then use safe healer and energy body to tank mobs while dealing dmg to the undead whenever they hit you, i understand this would only really work at low levels just wanted someone else's input

I'd focus on channeling. To start Assimer race. A solid race +2 to Wis and Chr no minus. Channeling feats that nothing else race or class offer. I'd take Channel Energy first then Safe Healer next. Feats that add and improve channel should be taken first, taking Combat Casting next Max Con and Chr before anything else. Con for the HP and Chr is your primary stat for everything channeling and spells. Buy and wear the heaviest armor with a heavy shield. The weapon doesn't matter but Battle Aspergillum would be my best suggestion with Holy Water in it.
A level or two of fighter would give you one or two extra combat feats and heavy armor profiency. A level or two of Vindicator Prestige class wouldn't hurt too much allowing you to use a channel to pump up your AC. By the time you get the class your channel will be around five or six D6 that translates to a +5 or +6 AC bump.
This combination makes you a tank allowing you to channel and destroy undead without too much risk to you.

If you're looking at dipping a couple of levels, go Paladin. Cha to saves when it's your casting stat is amazing, you get the heavy armour and all the weapon profs you could need, plus Lay on Hands is some excellent extra healing as a swift action to help deal with the damage you'll take from Life Link.

If you're focused on simply healing and not spell casting then even 4 levels of Paladin might be suitable as it grants an extra channel pool, 2 smites so that you can even do damage if needed in a pinch and even more Lay on Hands.

You can pseudo-tank with life link, but trying to front line as an oracle is risky. Specifically, there are lots of nasty touch range fortitude effects, many of them on undead, and oracles have poor fortitude.

Also, with no aggro mechanics relying on counterattack damage won't get you anywhere. If energy body does enough damage to matter you'll be ignored and not be tanking at all.

If you want to front line, a conventional battle cleric will serve you better. If you want to be a life oracle you should build a back line caster with life link.
