Does Razmiran Channel of the Razmiran Priest archetype work with spells with expensive material components?

It's actually called Razmiran Channel; d20pfsrd changes names when they're Golarion-specific (w/o indicating that they've done so).

Thank you <3

The scroll included the material component cost. The priest can activate the scroll but instead of using the scroll uses a slot. So yes.

And that's why it's broken. You could cast Resurrection or any spell over and over for free (once you got the scroll).

Yup, that's why this is considered the best archetype and basically one of the best options you can choose.

A false pretender shouldn't ever be better than any of the originals. With Razmiran Priest being strong as it is, there is no reason to play the actual thing. Ruins all the fun for divine casters, if you ask me.

It doesn't kick in until level 9, means you have to buy a lot of scrolls and takes up a higher level spell slot. A sorcerer wont be raising anyone from the dead until level 12. Clerics have been doing it since level 9.

Scrolls are cheap - it's a one off purchase. And the small difference in how early can you get the spell is easily overcome with lack of wealth at earlier levels.

Sorry?

Buy Inner Sea Magic and Inner Sea World, It's a fun read which explains who Razmir is. (Maybe you then realize how silly broken is this archetype.)

A friendly reminder to mark this as an FAQ candidate, so we may know once and for all.(And so that we may play other classes :P)

We already know how it works, and are free to play other classes. There's nothing to FAQ.

This isn't so much a request for a FAQ as is it a petition for a nerf

Yeah, this isn't an FAQ request. It's 'I don't like it so I not only don't want to play it but I want to make it so others can't too!!!' The only thing missing is an evil villain laugh... Now you're free to not like it, but at least be clear on your motives. You clearly don't want a 'rules question' answered...

I'm seconding this in a quote because merely +1-ing it not enough. This is a section for answers to what the rules are. Not a section for changing the rules to what you want them to be.
